Street Fighter vs. Mortal Kombat could make a pretty cool game if done right. If they put enough effort into it, it would be awesome.

I was thinking Guilty Gear vs. Street Fighter, but it seems a little unfair because Street Fighter characters don't really use weapons.

I wish we'd get some more news on Street Fighter x Tekken already.

Also for your GG vs SF arguement, I could argue that it would be severly unfair for Street Fighters to be fighting Xmen, but who cares, it's just fun seeing Dan beating the crap out of Apocalypse.
