Both pages display newspapers. Check the dates on the top right of each newspaper. Here's a little timeline for these papers:

July 13th, 1929
Missing at sea. Poseiden claims two more.
August 10th, 1929
BATTLEBLOCK THEATER OPENS!
??? 1930
Hostage release uncertain. Cats are well dressed.
??? 1930
The paper's covered up. The headline can't be read.
All fully dated news articles are on Saturday.

The one thats headline can't be read is the same article as "Hostage release uncertain. Cats are well dressed." You can tell because the edge of it thats sticking out has the same picture and words.

Here's how it should read:

I've seen it, not really sure what it means. Maybe a hint towards a new mode?Though this doesn't have to do with release dates, do you think the backwards text on the main page has any significance?

That's what I was thinking. Man, a gladiator mode would be sweet.
What I'm thinking now though is that the Castle Crashers could be considered gladiators. Maybe that's an excerpt from another prisoner's file and it's one of the Castle Crashers.

Hold on, something just occurred to me. If BattleBlock Theater opened in 1929, and prisoner 10293 has been captive in BattleBlock Theater for 65 years, doesn't that mean this game takes place during or after the 90's? Either that, or there's something we don't know yet.
Unless it opens in 2029 and the game takes place in the future

2.- I noticed those dates and the upside down text too, but i seriously think it's just random data in there to fill space or just drive us crazy. Just my guesses

1.- There is no way they could be hinting on the RD since the game will be tested at microsoft before releasing.

Imo it might be the window of time in which they release it. Ie no earlier than july 13 and no later than August 10.
