Crap, I keep forgetting I need to beat the main quest in Oblivion. I've literally done every quest except that one. I've avoided going back like the plague because at one point Oblivion was like crack to me.
You've done every quest besides the main one? As in you never stopped at Weynon Priory and gave the amulet to Jauffre?!
I agree, oblivion is somewhat like crack, especially when you're doing the guild questlines, having a higher rank makes me want to play longer >

I started the series at Oblivion, and Oblivion is easily my favorite video game ever.
I tried out Daggerfall, and it's pretty cool, but I can't really get myself into it. I also tried out Morrowind, but I was having some technical difficulties not to mention I was stuck inside a dungeon where I would get killed at every turn.

In my opinion, they need to, at some point, create a game located in Elsweyr or Valenwood (Khajiit and Wood Elf are my favorite races)
On a side note, in Morrowind and the games after it, Wood Elves are the shortest race you play as. But has anyone who played Daggerfall notice how it says the Wood Elves are a tall race? I always thought that was kind of amusing.
Anyway, I'll stop nerding out, good day to you.

Elsweyr. Yes. Khajiits were horribly underused in Skyrim. I would totally love to to Elsweyr because of the deserts and tropical rain forests and what not.
Has anyone purchased Dawnguard? I was super pumped for it at first, but I lost interest in it. I guess it just looked more and more uninteresting to me as it went along. I'm still expecting a Shivering Isles sized expansion, though!

I was playing Oblivion today and I finally got around to the Aleswell quest where everyone is invisible. Then I find out you have to go to the fort and fight invisible bad guys. I was extremely surprised by how easy and short the quest really was. I mean, i only ended up killing one invisible wolf. I really don't get why they even included that quest in the first place because of how short it was.
Most likely the invisible animals went off chasing other things in the world like bandits or roving imperial guards. They have an unusally wide detection radius if you just leave without doing the quest. I distinctly remember being chased by an invisible bear as I was trying to run and finished the quest. Quite possibly my most terrifying run for my life.

That must've been it. The invisible wolf freaked me out because it was a little bit after I got the quest so I forgot about the invisible monsters.
Also, I dunno about any of you guys, but it kind of creeps me out knowing that there are quests that are literally in the middle of nowhere on these games. On Oblivion I just left Anvil and kept walking until I found a fort. I went in and went all the way through, and killed the boss, and picked up his weapon, which activated a side quest. It's just an eerie feeling knowing that they went to the trouble to design a complete quest but they kept it so tucked away that they don't know if anyone is ever going to find it. For this one, you HAD to pick up the weapon the boss was carrying to activate it, so that makes it even more hidden.

What was the name of the Fort and/or weapon he had? Some of the mass murder quests were kind of eerie and hilarious at the same time. I liked the dinner party in Skingrad or the village not to far from the invisible quest with the family feud.

I can't remember the Fort but the weapon's name was "Rockshatter", I believe? I also think it was a mace. I can't confirm any of this because I sold my Xbox and all my games for a PS3. (best decision of my life) But I recall the quest talking about how the weapon had been a wedding gift or something.... however, it gave me the name of the person I should talk to but it didn't tell me where nor did it give me a quest marker.
