BEHEMOTH COMMUNITY GAME NIGHT
I believe this concept has been introduced before, but I will reintroduce it because we believe that if it's properly executed, it can be really fun.
If we get enough people in on this, we'll make it happen!
Game Night will be for both the Xbox 360 and the PC. If you have access to both, please try to attend both so we don't become short on people attending either one.
PS3 gaming will not be supported.
For starters,
Post in this thread to sign up
If we get enough people, we will set a date and time and make it happen.
The next Game Night is probably going to be next weekend. We hope to make each Game Night happen every weekend or so with occasional exceptions, based on when most users are available.
Please sign up so we can get this up and running!
Don't forget to bring a headset!

How it'll work:
The setup for the Xbox 360 game night is going to be fairly simple. We'll have a single Xbox Live party, so everyone can chat with headsets. Either everyone will be playing the same game, or the group will be divided into different groups of people playing games together and such. With multiple mini-parties, we can add another Xbox Live Party if there are enough people. You may also play single player games and participate by talking to the rest of the group.
We will adapt this setup to however we see works best once we've tried it out a couple times.
People who sign up for the Xbox Game Night may also participate in PC Game Nights. You are not required to attend every Game Night.
Attending:
-Fel
-Da Milk Man
-Tyndras
-basilisk
-Novastar117
-PSHYCOCHIPMUNK
-Mr. Welldone

How it'll work:
The setup for this will need to be worked on, so we can say it is currently a work in progress. We will have a couple PC game nights, and see what works best.
We will have a Steam chat open, as well as a Ventrilo server for voice communication. If we find an alternative for Ventrilo, we will use that alternative instead. You are required to participate in voice communication if you have a microphone. If the majority decides it doesn't work well, we can eliminate voice communication. If you do not have a microphone, it is advised to purchase one.
For gaming, people can set up servers for games such as TF2 and Terraria, and we'll decide on games to play. You are not required to participate in all the games. Often we will have multiple multiplayer games running at a time. You may also play single player games while talking in the chat.
People who sign up for the PC Game Night may also participate in Xbox Game Nights. You are not required to attend every Game Night.

-Da Milk Man
-Tyndras

-mechazeep
-TheOmegaKnight
-SushiGummy

Do you have a list of games available or something?
I have:
Halo: Reach (I can play this if you want, not really my kind of game)
GOW3 (My kind of game, but i don't think you guys like this)
Perfect Dark Arcade
SS: TFE
SS: TSE
Worms
Geometry Wars 2
Castle Crashers
Zombie Apocalypse
GTA IV
I also have L4D but my bro is got it atm, i am gonna have it by next month, and if you guys wanna play something else which isn't stupidly overpriced in here i could buy it.
Be prepared for my stupid accent. Also, my internet implodes now and then.

If someone doesn't have a game that most people are playing, it's fine, they can play something else with another player or something. Playing single player games while staying in the party chat is also tolerated.

I'm totally down for some Steam group gaming at any time. We've had TF2 sessions where a bunch of people showed up, and it would be awesome to do that again.
We have like 3 behemoth groups now.
I wish we would just stick with one.

Well honestly I originally planned on having a single game night so we could all be in it together, instead of everyone being split up. But the PS3 players decided to make their own game night, and I have no part in that, and that's their own thing they have going on.I'm totally down for some Steam group gaming at any time. I'm unsure of how this is gonna work, but where I think I stand right now is participating in both Xbox and PC game night, if I can get something properly set up.
We'll probably use Ventrilo or something for voice chat, so everyone get a microphone. The problem with this is that the Xbox is easier to set up, because it comes with a headset.
I think we'll have to alternate it between the weeks.
I'll update the lists in a little bit.
EDIT: Please post if you will be attending Xbox or PC game nights, or both. And try to make your point simple and clear to make it a bit easier for me.

I have L4D2 and TF2 for PC, and Halo Reach and MW3 for Xbox 360.
I probably have more game night-appropriate games, but I can't think of any right now.

If you have any comments, concerns, or feedback, please let us know. This isn't MY game night, it's OURS. We'll try to adapt it to fit everyone's comforts.
EDIT: Is everyone comfortable with voice communication, or should we just eliminate it to begin with? I was hoping to have something set up for voice chat, but if we don't, it's fine.
@DarkAnsem: It's for PC too now. I'm fairly certain everyone on the forums has a computer. I just don't want everyone to be split up, because it's a small community and it's difficult enough already to get events started without everyone being split up.

It'll be a hassle to get voice communication set up, but if the majority agrees with the idea we'll figure something out.Im fine with voice chat cause i got a new headset for my pc on christmas. Right now I'm thinking Vent, but I'm fairly certain it's foreign to everyone here.

Alright, let's set up a list of possible games. I'll take nominations for multiplayer games and we'll eliminate the ones that not enough people agree on. Whether or not a game makes the official list, you can still play it.
I'll keep the list in my OP, so don't forget to check back every now and then.
