My good friend otto has a hauppage pvr hd and a turtle beach headset.
He wants to get the game chat into the recording as we play it live.
What does he need to do to get this to work right?
I suggested mixing with the settings to put it on dolby and plug the turtle beaches into the yellow and red to the hauppauge and select VOICE to both and/or speakers and try recording.
He said it doesnt work but the game music records fine.
Any ways to help get this working would be awsome.

im not very fond of all that recording and commentary stuff, but if he wants 2, he could record his voice into his computer (ONLY CPU) then get a normal $20 360 headset and talk 2 yourself through that. So he can talk to you and record at the same time. Hope it helps

I believe it requires playing voice through his TV and his headset.
I think that's an option for you guys.

Well the problem is otto can hear me through the tv but not his own voice when he records.
So this is the problem we are trying to fix..

Oh, for that you need an extra piece to have him commentate into while you guys play and record. Maybe if you search up "live commentary setup" on YouTube, you'll get some results.
