I only watched four minutes of it before I got bored.
So how, exactly, are they changing the world by simply boasting of how they're "changing the world"?

The logic of hipsters.

Take a good look at the guy in the video, and the people who act like they're heroes for giving money to the guy. Also, the attitude that they're special because they know about Joseph Kony and apparently nobody else did.

Not true in all countries.

Mexico, France and Turkey has religion separated from government.

I'm still amazed at how so very few countries work this way, in 2012.

That's really all it was. A hype. Just like when Facebook thought they'd stop child abuse by using cartoon characters as their profile pictures. Awareness of Kony was increased, it just really didn't make a difference.
