okay seriously am i just stupid or is there something i don't know because I've seen this code complete stuff on some of the other bbt forums and I think some people want to know what this means. Can someone like sushi or dan respond and answer thanks.

There shouldn't be much of a "bbt community" out there other than here to my knowledge, but I could be wrong

Dan answers very often on these forums, chances are you'll get your answer. Sushi, on the other hand, is unfortunately not part of the actual behemoth development team, so don't ask him.

The foundation of the game and everything in it is completed. So that means no more big changes that could take a long time to add into the game. Now i'm assuming they're just going to polish things up.

thanks i know that sushi isn't part of the behemoth and dan has answered some of my questions before but i enjoy any feedback from others thanks for the info guys.

we will probably clear this up in a blog post in the next few weeks. no doubt will this term create more confusion at PAX



here are couple general explanations from google;

A release is called code complete when the development team agrees that no entirely new source code will be added to this release. There could still be source code changes to fix defects, changes to documentation and data files, and peripheral code for test cases or utilities.

“code complete” means that source code changes will now only be made in response to high-priority defects, and that change control is now strictly formalized. There is still outstanding work to be done around secondary deliverables such as documentation, but the code in the source repository is effectively frozen.

With the little info I know, I'll assume sometime between this Fall and Winter. I don't know either, though.

He's just joking around. It's just that people love asking for release date information on these forums, so the regulars have to deal with it a lot.

Thing is, if I recall correctly, Dan doesn't like to give specific release windows because of the expectations that were crushed after the whole "BBT in 2010" thing. So it might be unlikely that any of us will be getting any release date information until Behemoth has an actual release date.

I agree. True, people asking for release dates without even checking out the release date thread is a bit annoying, but it is understandable. I just wish that people didn't always expect for a release date for everything. I honestly like hoping for a game and not knowing a release date, it makes it so I don't have to sit for sometimes over a year, wishing for a game, knowing it won't come out until X amount of months
