How to make a Mortal Kombat movie:

Take a Mortal Kombat game and

1. Take out all plot points (it's not like there was much to begin with)

2. Remove any talent in the acting

3 Replace all special effects with cheap props and green screens

4 Have every action sequence involve jumping around with a wire rather than actual combat.

5 Make as many bad cinematographic decisions as possible.

At least Legacy was pretty sweet (<< Mature Content, rated TV:MA)

And I just got round to seeing The Dictator recently. Funny film. Worth a watch. Gonna' go see The Wolverine tomorrow, too

I have a couple of favourites, which include:

From the movie Inception: "Dreams feel real while we're in them. It's only when we wake up that we realize something was actually strange"

and also from Frozen, 2 quotes which I know by heart: "You can't marry someone you've just met", "Some people are worth melting for"

and from the musical Chicago: (just so I won't steal the surprise of watching the movie, it has a nice story and musical beat, in which Roxie is the main protagonist, VK - the main antagonist, and Mama - an advice giver maybe?)

V.K.: I just can't take it anymore. You can't go anywhere without hearing about that dumb tomato!

[Mama sits up with her hair dyed blonde like Roxie's]

V.K: Oh no, Mama, not you, too.

I always find it hard to get into movies nowadays. Honestly 2 movies have gotten me excited over the past 2 years.

In 2013, it was The World's End. I sincerely hope more movies like the ones in the Cornetto Trilogy show up. TWE was great fun.

This year, it was the LEGO Movie. I first saw it as a dumb 90-minute long advertisement for LEGO, but it turns out it was the other way around, kind of.

Instead of it being a movie made for LEGO it was just a movie that happened to made using LEGO. I saw it with my mother, who thought it was gonna be really boring, and she wound up driving home laughing like crazy. I'd recommend it to anyone.

One movie I'm never seeing though is Frozen. You can't pay me enough gems.

Today I watched Keanu Reeves' 'Man of Tai Chi'. It had some great moments and the fight choreography was great, but the story was pretty generic.

If you're a fan of Keanu Reeves and kung fu movies, you should check it out.

Me too. I didn't see a single movie in a movie theater so far this year, and the only movie that really sparked my interest last year was Despicable Me 2.

My friend lent me his collection of Studio Ghibli movies, so I've been enjoying those a lot. I watched Howl's Moving Castle last night, and it made me feel like a kid again. Really awesome stuff.

My friend is making me watch all the Harry Potter movies because I haven't had any exposure to them, I'm almost twenty, and it's like, "Dude, where have you been?"

*shrug*

Aaaaaanybutt, I'm almost through with them, I just have the last movie to go. I really liked the first two movies and then it got kinda... ehh when they decided to make everything grey-toned. I mean, yeah, bad stuff is happening, but it doesn't have to look gloomy all the time.

Deathly Hollows Part 1 was kinda boring, though. I spaced out through most of it.

Oh, also, How to Train Your Dragon 2 is amaaaazing.
