I dont know about anybody, but i love horror movies.
Insidious 7.5/10 it was good, good storyline, good acting, but imo not very scary, but idk i havent been finding any horror films scary lately :)
Devil(which i saw recentl after insidious :P) 5/10 good storyline, but again in my opinion NOT scary, and pretty poor acting

Finally just saw the second part of Harry Potter 7
It was pretty good, I’d give it 7/10
Lots of special effects but still didn't come close to living up to the book

Also saw Horrible bosses
I’d give it 6/10
It was funny but was just sort of a dumb movie :|

Also I just rented Source Code
8/10 for sure
Good story, made you think a bit, and some decent action.

lolbump

I watched Hobo With A Shotgun today with some friends, and it was just awful. It was one of those recent Grindhouse style movies like Machete or Deathproof or Planet Terror. I loved all three of those movies, but this one just did not work. They were going for a so-bad-it's-good type of thing, but it was just bad. The writing was terribly cheesy, it just didn't work all-around.

One thing I will admit, though, is considering the budget they did a really good job making it. The budget was 3,000,000 dollars. That's tiny for a movie like this. Juno, a movie about a pregnant teen, had a budget of 7,500,000. Hobo With a Shotgun movie had explosions and stuff, while Juno was about a pregnant teenager. That's amazing to me.

I also saw Drive a week or two back and WOW. I thought it was great. Writing was pretty good, directing was great. The lighting was great. It was colorful. The lighting reminded me of Kick balloon, in a way. Drive was great. Go see Drive. It had Ron Perlman, who is my favorite actor. Some of you may know him as Hellboy, or Clay from Sons of Anarchy. He has a supporting role. That's what got me interested in seeing the movie. I loved it. The whole movie is really cool. It's bloody though. Not for younger viewers.

Mission Impossible: Ghost Prot

It was awesome, just as any action movie should be. Had my hart racing at multiple points, such as when Ethan (the main character) was climbing that massive building in Dubai. A little twistat the end about his wife.

8.5/10

I just finished the annual family viewing of a Christmas Story.
It's still funny after all these years, I'd still give it a 9/10.

Just saw Underworld: Awakening.

Story was not bad, execution was too hasty. It felt like it wanted to get as much action into the screen as possible to keep people entertained, and lost lots of the potential moments to input lore and story into this budding series.
Action was awesome, though.

Saw possession..... it sucked a rats nut. it was way to predictable and i prefer to see the new "
Oogieloves In The BIG Balloon Adventure",which is basically Teletubbies the movie.

the GFX were ok if you like to see a black teacher flying around a room and out of the window. also (SPOILER ALERT!) if you want to know what

the demon looks like well you have to wait until the end of the movie and only to find out that it look like and old fetus. THATS RITE A FETUS!! I thought this movie was gunna be good but instead its like watching something you already saw, you know exactly what is going to happen next. if you hate predictable movies then don't see this. the only thing i found good in the movie was the actor who played the father and the actress who plays Emily (the little girl who has a old fetus controlling her).

all in all i rate this movie a 4/10
didnt scare me, didnt creep me, im done with this movie.

not trying to troll this movie i just really disliked it.

On the bright side, the Oogieloves set a record for the worst wide-release opening weekend in history.

Don't even really know how old this movie is, but my friend had me watch it last night. Very good movie. I loved Samuel L. Jackson's acting in this movie, he made it feel very eerie. If you're into psychological thrillers, pick this one up, you'll be sure to enjoy it.

Prometheus was really fine. I wouldn't advise it to people who haven't seen the original Alien, though.

From my perspective it has to be an 8 at the very least.

Very good execution, although some bits were really cheesy.

Why not? I loved the original Aliens. I loved Prometheus. Mainly because I don't go to the cinema to puppy about how something is different from another movie. The movie was set in another time and on another planet and yet you see all these die hard fans whining. You'd think you'd see more support for the prequel to a possible revamp.
Off that BS though, how good was the 'removal of foreign body in male calibrated surgery' scene. ANd then she ran a marathon. What a champ! lmao
