can anyone tell me what anime this is, I watched it a LONG time ago but i forgot what it was called

It was about girls with horns on their heads who have long invisible hands coming out of their backs and can kill people people instantly. And the government keeps most of them in big cells and they gave them numbers to identify them but 2 escaped. And one of the guys in the government happen to be the father of one of those girls, but then happens to be the father of some other girl with horns which the government sent to capture the 2 girls who escaped.

Gunslinger Girl is among my favorites.
It's not just about girls shooting guns and beating bad guys like other manga.
Rather, it's focuses

on the individual characters and how girls lost their innocence (not anything adultish.) and their humanity basically.

I haven't seen any manga magazines in stores, they might not sell them here. But whenever I think of Japanese TV shows, I think of 4kids.

Ah yes, anime. I'll say my favorite ever was Bomberman Jetters, one of those which is based of a game, and doesn't suck hard. Very touching anime, IMO. (Made me cry. )

Dood, I just tried reading FLCL...that things ten times crazier than the anime, and thats pretty crazy in the first place!

Seriously, go check it out. The whole thing has a sketchy kind of style that matches the feel of the novel perfectly

Yeah.
I hear alot of people mention Cowboy Bebop when it comes to anime.
I just never got around watching it.

I hear lots of "FMA is awesome"
I don't know what big O is.
Ghost in the Shell. The 1 anime that influenced the creation of the Matrix trilogy.

Also, gunslinger girl so far is a great show.
I stopped watching after episode 5 for some reason. But it was awesome. It's not entirely action oriented or lolicon like the title would imply.

FLCL, I saw episode 1. Single greatest crazyness since Jojo's bizzare adventure.
Evangelion, OMFG TEH REI!!!!!
Blood.........., sounds interesting. But I just never looked at vampires ever since Twilight or Moon Phase.

We don't actually get any anime on TV over here actually. I watch it all on the internet
