I just started playing Portal for the first time, I'm at room 18 right now.
It was an odd game, the android part freaked me out.
I don't see what on earth that computer system was talking about, my cube didn't talk to me.
Discuss what you thought about Portal.

Argh dangit what on earth do I do!?
I'm stuck on room 18,killed the droids, made it to the button that opens the door, but how do I get to mah companion cubes?

Are you talking about the Portal with the Orange Box or the one you can buy off Arcade? I have the orange box and found Portal to be a really great game. Does get pretty tough.

After you beat it the first time, it is actually really easy the second time.

I was actually going to buy that game, the demo was really fun. When I got microsoft points, I got splosion man instead, but one of the reasons why is because of a question-

I have the steam version for the computer, and I just can't beat this one part.
Very complex game, the first droid level freaked me out.

When you hit the button to open the door, a platform thing is raised, you shoot a portal onto it, then another near you to get close, then take a right, jumping off, and shoot a portal at the ground to fling yourself accross the room.
I'm pretty sure you already burn the companion cube by now though.

I played the Orange Box version of Portal and loved it. Thought it was extremely innovative and offered the right amount of challenge and humor. After a year of owning the Orange Box, I just recently sold it back I have a longing to play through Portal again so I downloaded Portal: Still Alive, I just haven't had the time to play it again yet.

I beat Still Alive and then I bought the Orange Box.
Now I can't remember how to beat one of the testchambers

I played the portal that came with the orange box. It is one of the best games I have played. I still haven't finished it, though.....

could somebody please tell me how many levels I get for the full arcade version? I really enjoyed it, but don't want to play 20 levels and be done with it.

I got the 360 version, but later i decided to buy the Valve complete Pack for 80 bucks, and played Portal on PC too.
This game is really amazing, GLaDOS got the best voice ever!
I hope they will make a sequel

heres a rumor

'you have to find the radio hidden in the level, then find a spot to recieve the transmission, which you can find when you hear static"

also i was looking in my game files and find this voice clip

In the Portal Content GCF at portal/sound/npc, there's a MALE Glados-like voice saying "The enrichment center thanks you for assuming the party escort submission position."

Ok its rumored theres a hidden radio in every level and you take it with you and if you step on the red circle the radio glows green and makes creepy morse codes sounds
