Gah, this is really irritating me.

Its hard to find a decent free for all game now that everyone cheats. These guys took turns killing each other till they both had a 25 kill streak. I filed a complaint for both of them, so hopefully they get whats comin to them soon. Anyone else have this problem?

Its not cheating, really. They're just boosting.

Of course, you could play an un-broken game like Brutal Legend which actually takes skill instead, and laugh at everyone who says you're cheap.

There are cheaters on every game, somewhere.
Also people who ruin other's fun and happiness.

Just make a point to anger them, like wait until they're right about to get 20 kills or so then kill them.
Then spawn kill the one with a tactical insertion.
Then negative feedback and avoidance thing.

There's a difference between cheating and not.
Cheating:
-Using a hex editor or other program to instantly gain higher ranks/items
-Purposely braking rules set by players, mods, or admins.

Boosting:
-having a friend in the same game where all you do is kill each other, ignoring objectives and the like.
-Hosting games just to spawn camp and kill friends

taking turns killing eachother isn't cheating,if it was no one would play final fantasy.my definition of cheating would be a person who secretly rigged the game (*COUGH*HACKERS*COUGH*).plus the game was based of off the word "kill" so even if that is cheating in some way it's not that big a deal.this technique also sounds like a fast way to lvl. up.

Babbit, honestly, please stop bashing CoD so much. Its extremely irritating. If you honestly have so much anger towards this game then Id recommend you take it to another forum or message board.

Also, you say it takes no skill to play CoD? Thats a false statement. Fair enough, their are easy ways to get kills with little skill, like headshotting a nearby enemy that does not see you. ( Instead of letting him see you, and seeing who can draw their gun faster ) But for the majority, it takes a lot of careful aiming, hiding, taking cover, knowing when to use some kill streak rewards that leave you vulnerable, etc. All of those require skill.

Also I find it odd how you compare two completely different games.
This is a topic to discuss the cheaters in CoD games, if you cant do that then please go to the games you hate topic or something.

I don't think that it's near as bad as TF2 used to be.
Half of the servers were hacked.
It was mostly just the anti-gravity hack, but there were also ones much worse.

No, you're not.
Taking turns to sit and set up respawns just to shoot eachother in the head, over and over, and going for nukes and stuff that you don't earn which kill everybody, is annoying, and not earning the levels.

the ONLY way you can lvl up is by killing. the whole point of the game is to shoot,stab,hide an run.

And do it the way it was meant to be done.

Nothing against you Ranger, but Babbit didn't criticize anything in this thread except cheaters (actually, nevermind. But the point remains)

Just give up. I am sure that if IW could, they would prevent boosting from being possible.
