I was thinking of making a Fender jack-o-lantern, but this seems WAY more rewarding.

Hey, good timing! Just carved up a lil' something' somethin' last night.

Step 1: Drawin' time. I think I used a dry erase marker, so it would wipe off easily when I didn't need it anymore.

Step 2: I pin-pricked the entire design so I wouldn't have to worry about wiping it off anymore. This managed to tattoo the design into my pumpkin, which was not really what I had in mind. Whoops.

Step 3: The result! It looks good in the light...

I don't mean to clog up this topic with my pictures, but there are more on the way with an exciting conclusion. :P

Step 3.5: Rotate the pumpkin a little to show off the side.

Step 4: Light it up with the intense blaze of a single candlepower! This is the part where I realized I wasn't thinking about how it would look in the dark with a candle in it. I really ought to have reversed the "light" and "dark" parts, but it's been a long, long time since I've carved a pumpkin... that was disappointing, although the effect is that Pazzo looks like he's got much more of a traditional Jack O'Lantern face. And I think I'm gonna thin down the "not cut all of the way through" bits more tomorrow. Er, today. I haven't figured out a good way to do that, though.

Step 5: Place it in an awesome action pumpkin scene with the Orange Knight!

I also helped out with the Orange Knight pumpkin. I didn't carve it, but I drew the flames and the sword ( :P I know, wow, huh) onto the pumpkin.

Inverting the lit Pazzo is the best way to explain what I did wrong, in fact. If you carve out a Pazzo, please do it the opposite way of how I did it!

Now I really am just cluttering this up with needless extra pictures. I think this one is needed, though, to show the cat-filled atmosphere of my pumpkins.

The end!

Well, I said I'd do something, and here it is:
Posted Image

Its my first ever pumpkin carving :) Excuse the bad picture, I had to use my phone :|

Its supposed to be the skull and crossbones from the Ninjer's headband. However when drawing my design onto the pumpkin, I didn't have a picture of it in front of me...so it turned out a little sucky

Thinking of it...I could have made something way better than this

Ah well, even if it doesn't win me anything, I had a lot of fun making it :D Honestly, I haven't laughed so hard in ages ;)

For Halloween, my sister (because I don't have enough skills [or skittles] to do it myself) and I carved and painted two pumpkins in the shapes of Owlet and the skeleton.

Now we see them in the dark! (The Orange Knight helped with the fire)

Here's a close-up of the Owlet in the dark.

And here's a close-up of the skeleton in the dark.

That's my entry.

And, by the way, for those of you with extra pumpkins, VG Cats has a pumpkin design of a Castle Crasher. You can see it here:

What to do now... I'm gonna play some Castle Crashers!

So, I had to carve my pumpkin later then intended, and I had to use my phone to take a picture... ta-da!
I'm also adding an image of what I originally wanted to do but couldn't. It made me sad drawing it and not being able to do it with what tools I had

Tis rammy!
:D
I printed out a pic of him, cut out the middle w/ a knife, then let my dad do the carving....I thought little Rammy came out pretty good :D

P.S. I'll probably take another pic of the pumpkin tomorrow.....I don't like how the candle shows S:

Oh, I almost forgot; I'm having a Halloween party at my house tomorrow, and I made a poster w/ Barbarian and Orange knight on it. I'll take a pic of it tomorrow as well :D

This was my gruelingly constructed Halloween costume this year. :D
It was incredibly fun to make and totally worth it. Orange Knight FTW.
So I've attached the three best pictures of it but here are links to some additional photos just because I couldn't quite decide which ones to use.

A close up of the Helmet.

A close up of the Sword.

Another pose with the shield.

An action shot.

By the way those pumpkins are all damn incredible, good work everyone.
