I will address the following;
Techniques that are all in the X, Y, and A.
And Exp. boosting... yay.
Fellow users; registered or not, hidden lurkers, and guests have you not learned how to juggle? (This is where the A and Y buttons come in.)
1. A regular jump can easily lead into a juggle, and if you wish to deplete enemy life points faster, you will do the following... without magic.
Jumping can be fun. Every time you touch the ground and have landed completely, mentally say "one" and then jump again.
Anyway, jumping like this can help you elude enemy damage. Maybe once, or twice consecutively. Whenever you wish to, tap the A button, then Y, X,Y,Y,X,Y,X,Y,X,Y,Y. Remember what The Blacksmith said back at Home Castle "Heavy attacks deal more damage than light attacks." or something along the lines of that. And that's the end o' that
2. Wanna carry some foes, just to show them how beefy you are ( Here's the X button, oh my castle.)
Eat a Beefy Sandwich, and punch an enemy with the X button ( I haven't tested out the Y button on this yet.), and then hold down your LT (Left Trigger.) Your shield should come up, as well as your enemy.. If done correctly. You can walk with your enemy in your hands, and tossing is still apart of the game at this point.
EDIT: 256 boosting
Where you need to go:
Any level with a princess
What you will need:
1. One to three accounts with level 256
2. A seperate account that you want to boost
5. Batteries for your controller
What you will need to do:
1. Defeat the boss
2. Cut down the princess
3. Through the 256 account(s) in the air using the Y Button
Upon doing so, the 256 account(s) will get stuck in the air while losing a continuous 1 life point. It will take forever for the 256(s) to be defeated, and so you will rack up level, after level, after level. If you would like, you could get your arrows out and shoot at a 256 to speed up the process just a little.
If you don't have anyone to do this glitch with, send My Host is a 50 a message over XBOX Live, I'll be happy to help in my free time.
This is to be done on the level Catfish.
You will need a/ companion(s), arrows, patience, Giraffey, and a full Agility Bar.
Online or offline, start the game with 2+ players and choose the character you wish to boost.
There is a specific set-up for this, so pay attention.
The booster should be directly against the prow of the ship.
Companion(s) should be directly against the catfish to block all punches with their shield(s). The companion(s) should also be ready to continually move forward. The booster just needs to rapidly fire at the catfish.
