      Update 5: Infinite Wisdom is here!   10/05/2017

        Hey everyone, We’re back with another update that really mixes some stuff up. An entirely new challenging mode, a rebalance of the entire game to go with the rework of the new leveling progression numbers, ability to do the co-op intro online, faster PVP rounds, language translations and more! With the rebalance you’ll find that your fighters are dealing even more damage as they gain experience. All balance changes are retro-active meaning you do not have to worry about starting over or starting new characters in order to experience that – they’re all dynamically applied to what you already have! Feel free to check out what we’ve changed in the list below, and as always – please leave us feedback about anything you find noteworthy. As always, the main Story (although not included in this update) is being developed alongside all these improvements we have been releasing.       Pit People's Final Touches   11/21/2017

      It has been nearly a year since we launched Pit People on early access. This journey has been an incredible experience! We’ve built a better game thanks to all your feedback. So here’s a spicy little situation: We’ve decided that our next big drop will be the FULL version of the game! Yes, it shall be complete! You’ll be able to play through the story and find out what happens for everyone.  
        As we write this, we’re working on the last of the cinematics for the story campaign! This is the final push towards completing the game, alongside additional story quests and a new world map with bonus missions.
        Since there’s so much involved with these last steps (VO, animation, level creation, music licensing, QA testing, etc), we’re not exactly sure when everything will line up for a full release date, but we’re shooting to release within the first few months of 2018.
        Thank you again to all of the people who’ve been playing Pit People during early access and to everyone who has been sending us feedback. It has truly been invaluable and we can’t wait to share the conclusion of Pit People with you all!

  1. Has Castle Crashers Died Out?

    XBL Arena is more or less the same. Mostly just a couple handfuls of random players. Every once in a while, a familiar face shows up, and you'll get a bunch of good games.

    It was a great tournament. There were a couple interesting upsets and a lot of good matches across the board. I hope everyone keeps playing now that it's all done!
  5. Tournament Of Champions 2

    Hey all (Flab here). Matches are great, it's great to see lots of competition back in the arena! Something odd I've noticed, though, is that wins/losses/points (at least for me) are not awarded after each game like they used to be. For example, I lost to MadBest 3 or 4 times in a row, and didn't gain any losses from it. I'm guessing it's some sort of connection problem- is anyone else experiencing this?

    I've noticed (on 360), if a couple good players start playing, it seems like more people overall start playing again, at least for a few days.

    With increased gravity/recovery jumps from a juggle, that could really put a refreshing spin on Arena and lead to longer, more strategic fights. Hopefully it pans out.
  10. Castle Crashers XBLA Tournament of Champions!

    I actually like how the tournament's gotten people to play. There's a huge challenge online and most of the players are pretty chill about everything. I hope it stays this way after today. I was surprised, I got owned by T-Pain pretty quickly. I have no idea who's going to come out on top at the end. Should be exciting. Lesson: Don't try to move the horse in the ToC.

  13. Juggling, is it fair?

    The problem is, that's normally how it turns out regardless. I find it much harder to start a juggle on someone standing on top of me than the inverse situation. More often, it just blows both of us backwards from the R+A attacks hitting each other. I know. I'm FlabCaptain.
  14. Juggling, is it fair?

    The cheapest part of it, I think, is the fact that you can't escape a juggle at all once you're in it. This, combined with the fact that you can insta-juggle a fallen opponent just by timing it correctly, usually makes game a test to see who can land the first juggle. I've done my fair share of juggling, but I still think there should be some way to "break" them and recover. Noting that it wasn't an intentional feature of the game, it's understandable that there's not, though.
  15. YEA CASTLE !!!

    There's no need for a sequel. The campaign of CC is already awesome. What I would like to see is more multiplayer options of maybe a mode harder than "Insane" for the 360, but eh. Great game already. I still play all the time.
