Update 5: Infinite Wisdom is here!   10/05/2017

Hey everyone, We’re back with another update that really mixes some stuff up. An entirely new challenging mode, a rebalance of the entire game to go with the rework of the new leveling progression numbers, ability to do the co-op intro online, faster PVP rounds, language translations and more! With the rebalance you’ll find that your fighters are dealing even more damage as they gain experience. All balance changes are retro-active meaning you do not have to worry about starting over or starting new characters in order to experience that – they’re all dynamically applied to what you already have! Feel free to check out what we’ve changed in the list below, and as always – please leave us feedback about anything you find noteworthy. As always, the main Story (although not included in this update) is being developed alongside all these improvements we have been releasing. Check out our blog for the full changelist: http://blog.thebehemoth.com/2017/09/28/update-5-infinite-wisdom-is-here/

      Pit People's Final Touches   11/21/2017

It has been nearly a year since we launched Pit People on early access. This journey has been an incredible experience! We’ve built a better game thanks to all your feedback. So here’s a spicy little situation: We’ve decided that our next big drop will be the FULL version of the game! Yes, it shall be complete! You’ll be able to play through the story and find out what happens for everyone.
As we write this, we’re working on the last of the cinematics for the story campaign! This is the final push towards completing the game, alongside additional story quests and a new world map with bonus missions.
Since there’s so much involved with these last steps (VO, animation, level creation, music licensing, QA testing, etc), we’re not exactly sure when everything will line up for a full release date, but we’re shooting to release within the first few months of 2018.
Thank you again to all of the people who’ve been playing Pit People during early access and to everyone who has been sending us feedback. It has truly been invaluable and we can’t wait to share the conclusion of Pit People with you all!

  1. PS3 Arena

Haha. If I had been getting that kind of advice when I was a new player, it would have scared me off. =P I'm more of a know-as-I-go player, but I suppose that's just me. I'm not extremely competitive and have no leaderboard aspirations - I'm just moderately above-average and enjoy playing the game. I figured everything out by feel, which is a nice way of saying that I can juggle just fine, but I couldn't tell you the button combination to do it for the life of me.
  2. PS3 Arena

Does it matter what seat they are or whether or not they can juggle? If they quit to avoid a loss, they're an balloon. Period. There's my two cents, anyway.
  3. Masters of Castle Crashers

Nope, just in general. I'm on a public computer, so I can't watch your video.
  4. Castle Crashers for 3DS

As opposed to the Xbox, which just plain has too many. =P In any case, I'd say The Behemoth has their hands pretty full just managing two consoles at the moment.
  5. Minor game tweak topics

Insane is difficult enough when the AI doesn't block arrows and bombs. All the more reason NOT to make that happen. I wouldn't mind the ladder thing or the Insane deer-riding level. The troll boss should be an instant kill on Insane, since it's already pitifully easy to get through that course without a scratch.
  6. Masters of Castle Crashers

    Arcade pads don't count.
  7. PS3 Arena

You can insult people for quitting early, but you don't need to get so aggressive towards new players. You were one once, too. =/
  8. To all former 256's who want the hatty DLC

I don't think The Behemoth approves of this.
  9. A much better community

Setting them to level 1 isn't punishment. It's a neutral action. Banning them would be a punishment. Giving them level 99 gold skulls is an overwhelming reward. More importantly than that, the problem is online gameplay: Having a bunch of random people who essentially glitched up to 99 as opposed to 256 isn't THAT much different. They're still overpowered, they still got there through cheating, and they still cause problems online. I stand by my opinion. Any decent player would be happy to start their characters over if it meant the fair and just elimination of the 256 glitch and those who abuse it.
  10. DLC Ideas Thread

Because people don't put any thought into their suggestions.
  11. A much better community

I'm not saying it's not better. I'm saying that, if they were going to go through the trouble of fixing the glitch, why not do it in a way that's fair to the people who play the game legitimately? I think the logic in my previous post pretty much sums it all up. It just plain doesn't make sense.
  12. A much better community

    I'm listening.

    (No it shouldn't.)
