Update 5: Infinite Wisdom is here!   10/05/2017

Hey everyone, We’re back with another update that really mixes some stuff up. An entirely new challenging mode, a rebalance of the entire game to go with the rework of the new leveling progression numbers, ability to do the co-op intro online, faster PVP rounds, language translations and more! With the rebalance you’ll find that your fighters are dealing even more damage as they gain experience. All balance changes are retro-active meaning you do not have to worry about starting over or starting new characters in order to experience that – they’re all dynamically applied to what you already have! Feel free to check out what we’ve changed in the list below, and as always – please leave us feedback about anything you find noteworthy. As always, the main Story (although not included in this update) is being developed alongside all these improvements we have been releasing. Check out our blog for the full changelist: http://blog.thebehemoth.com/2017/09/28/update-5-infinite-wisdom-is-here/

      Pit People's Final Touches   11/21/2017

It has been nearly a year since we launched Pit People on early access. This journey has been an incredible experience! We’ve built a better game thanks to all your feedback. So here’s a spicy little situation: We’ve decided that our next big drop will be the FULL version of the game! Yes, it shall be complete! You’ll be able to play through the story and find out what happens for everyone.
As we write this, we’re working on the last of the cinematics for the story campaign! This is the final push towards completing the game, alongside additional story quests and a new world map with bonus missions.
Since there’s so much involved with these last steps (VO, animation, level creation, music licensing, QA testing, etc), we’re not exactly sure when everything will line up for a full release date, but we’re shooting to release within the first few months of 2018.
Thank you again to all of the people who’ve been playing Pit People during early access and to everyone who has been sending us feedback. It has truly been invaluable and we can’t wait to share the conclusion of Pit People with you all!

  1. Ladies and gentlemen, after roughly 8 months of toiling and obsessing over my designing, I can proudly present to you all my final playlist, Carnivore Carny. Carnivore Carny is a solo playlist, and it's chock-full of new ideas and puzzles that I'm sure will amaze (and potentially stump) even the most veteran of players. As for the playlist name, I found a newfound appreciation for Raccalopes over the course of this playlist's creation, and as such many of the levels feature them and force the player to interact with them in new and challenging ways. As such, the name Carnivore Carny only seemed fitting. So go ahead, give it a try, and see if you have what it takes to tackle the Carnivore Carny! I can't thank the Behemoth enough for making this awesome game, and the amazing experience I've had from playing it and designing in it, you all are the best. I can't wait to play your future games.
  2. 8Bitten's Chalk Art

Hey everyone, once I arrived at college I picked up a new hobby, chalk art. I wanted to share with you all some of my chalk "doodles". Also below is an article from my school paper that I was featured in for my chalk art, which was pretty cool! Article: http://www.dailyutahchronicle.com/2014/11/10/chalk-boy-feature/ Street Squid: The Boy and the Frog: Space Bear's Voyage: Happy Halloween: The Dance of the Bagel: Emotional Outburst: Mrs. Pac: Always Wear Your Shellmet: And finally, just me drawing:
  3. I wanted to see how many plays I had total for Arcadia, so I went to check. 7000+. Nice. Let's see how Capture the Duck is doing, I kind of want to play that. I look it up and it only has 80-85 plays currently. Wat? It was a feature. I went back to the arena section and went to feature, and it still said Arcadia by MeltedCow. Did I miss something? 8bitten's playlist is pretty cool, and it needs to be shown to the world. My time in the spotlight is over, I think. EDIT: There's a dupe topic of this. Request a lock on that. EDIT2: Oh come on! Stupid XBOX. The thing was a little behind, I guess. Nevermind. Just lock this thread, CTD is featured. Time to go play it!

Why, why, why, must it glitch like that? Lock or delete (if possible) this thread, please.
  5. I Designed A Skateboard Deck

Today I decided I wanted to create a skateboard deck design for myself, one that shortly I will be ordering on an actual deck. Below is the result of this short burst of creativity.
  6. So after I finished my big window project I wanted to do some small charms with glass I had left over for fun. One of the charms I ended up making is in tribute to Hatty Hattington. About 7.5 hours of work overall. Enjoy! I think it turned out pretty good!
  7. Looking for something new and exciting? Well I have news for you! I've created an entirely new Arena Mode! I call it... "Capture The Duck"! CaptureTheDuck GT: LevelDesignGuy Don't be fooled by those ballgame icons that adorn the doors of this arena playlist, this playlist is anything but your typical arena mode. In fact, as such, it plays entirely different to what you've played before. This mode is more comparable to capture the flag. If capture the flag involved herding an easily manipulated ever-wandering duck back to your "goal". Every level spawns the players on their respective side of the level. And in the center of each level is a duck egg. To begin the match, simply hatch the egg. Once the egg is hatched your objective is to herd the duck back to the goal on the side that you spawned on. Doing so will allow the duck to stand on a button, scoring you seven points. The real challenge and fun of this map comes from sabotaging your opponents attempts to herd the duck. This can be done by either by utilizing the hazards and obstacles built into each of the levels, or through clever use of your prisoner's weaponry. Well what are you waiting for? 15 levels of crazy "Capture The Duck" action await you! (Created for the BattleBlock Theater Arena Playlist Creation Contest XBLA Category) Pictures provided by the ever-amazing MisterrQuentin.
  8. 8Bitten's Stained Glass Window

So, if any of you remember (or saw) my last post, you know that I've been working almost constantly on a stained glass window for my school. Well I'm excited to show you all what I have finished. The first half is up in the school and I'm currently making my way towards finishing the second half, below are some pictures of what I have done! Enjoy! The first half is 4 feet wide by 4 feet tall and 241 pieces of glass, overall it was about 100 hours of work.
  9. Hello Everyone! I’m here once again to present you with another playlist, but this time it’s different… You’ll need a friend to tackle this set of levels. After 4 weeks of designing and testing I can finally present you with… Playlist name: TogetherWeFail3 Gamertag: LevelDesignGuy “Together We Fail” is, in my honest opinion, the culmination of the best levels I’ve made so far in BattleBlock Theater. Every level will require true co-operation and teamwork between you and your partner. So prepare for your friendships to be tested as you set out to conquer the challenges that await you in “Together We Fail”! *Level Screenshots courtesy of Mr. Quentin. Finally, I’d like to give a shout out to the lovely individuals who helped me test my playlist along the way! Mr. Quentin- Undoubtedly the main contributor to the testing of this playlist. Mr. Quentin tested every trap in these levels at least twice, if not three times, over it’s four week development period… Plus he was a huge help when it came to brainstorming ideas and creating traps. So yeah, thanks man! PS3GuyGuy- First off, I would just like to announce PS3GuyGuy as the worst Co-op partner ever. He’s the ultimate saboteur. Aside from that, PS3GuyGuy was extremely helpful to testing all of my levels, and was always someone to talk to when I was designing. PS3GuyGuy also recently released his own Co-op playlist called “Concession Cat”, I suggest giving it a play! Ryan (Behemoth Staff)- This cool dude played through most of my levels with me on a Behemoth Voyeur stream, which was really awesome. On top of that he gave me some really great feedback and criticism! Lastly, I’d like to give a big thanks to my additional testers BackupSidekick, UndeadNinya, NOSNick04, Hazard, and Oh Butler!
