Update 5: Infinite Wisdom is here!   10/05/2017

Hey everyone, We’re back with another update that really mixes some stuff up. An entirely new challenging mode, a rebalance of the entire game to go with the rework of the new leveling progression numbers, ability to do the co-op intro online, faster PVP rounds, language translations and more! With the rebalance you’ll find that your fighters are dealing even more damage as they gain experience. All balance changes are retro-active meaning you do not have to worry about starting over or starting new characters in order to experience that – they’re all dynamically applied to what you already have! Feel free to check out what we’ve changed in the list below, and as always – please leave us feedback about anything you find noteworthy. As always, the main Story (although not included in this update) is being developed alongside all these improvements we have been releasing. Check out our blog for the full changelist: http://blog.thebehemoth.com/2017/09/28/update-5-infinite-wisdom-is-here/

      Pit People's Final Touches   11/21/2017

It has been nearly a year since we launched Pit People on early access. This journey has been an incredible experience! We’ve built a better game thanks to all your feedback. So here’s a spicy little situation: We’ve decided that our next big drop will be the FULL version of the game! Yes, it shall be complete! You’ll be able to play through the story and find out what happens for everyone.
As we write this, we’re working on the last of the cinematics for the story campaign! This is the final push towards completing the game, alongside additional story quests and a new world map with bonus missions.
Since there’s so much involved with these last steps (VO, animation, level creation, music licensing, QA testing, etc), we’re not exactly sure when everything will line up for a full release date, but we’re shooting to release within the first few months of 2018.
Thank you again to all of the people who’ve been playing Pit People during early access and to everyone who has been sending us feedback. It has truly been invaluable and we can’t wait to share the conclusion of Pit People with you all!

  1. Super Mario Maker is right around the corner, and I figured I would make a thread for this game, one reason being that we can share our custom made levels here as well as give advice and critiques, among other things related to the game. Since it isn't September 11th yet, the game isn't out for the public as of yet. So I think we ought to talk about some things we're excited for / dissapointed in / curious about. Personally I'm kinda sad to hear that amiibo costumes only work in the 8-bit style, it would have been really cool to see them work in Mario 3 / Mario World styles.
  2. Lego Dimensions

Lego announced a new series of Lego sets that will interact with a new Lego game called Lego Dimensions. From what I've seen, it's like how Amiibos work except they're Lego sets. It looks like the base of the actual figurine interacts with the game through a "portal" (a la Disney Infinity) and then it also comes with the pieces to build the figurine on top of the base. This is actually very cool since it opens up a world of possibilities for customization. Anyways here's a trailer so you can see it for yourself (although it's mainly just awkward acting, cheesy jokes and pop culture references; if you want to see some gameplay then skip to the last minute or so): From the trailer, it looks like the Lego series involved with Lego Dimensions so far are: -Lord of the Rings -DC universe -Lego Movie -Back to the Future -The Wizard of Oz -Lego Ninjago I'm sure more will be added over time though. It looks like the game will come included in a Starter Pack priced at $100, which includes a copy of the game, the portal, and 4 figurines: Batman, Gandalf, that chick from the Lego Movie whose name is unknown to me, and the Batmobile. Beyond that, packs of figurines will add content to the game such as levels and characters, and those packs will cost about $15-$30 and include 2 to 4 figurines. The sets are up on amazon.uk, if you're curious about what they include. So overall I think this idea is pretty neat. I'm a fan of the Lego games and I feel like the interaction between Lego sets and Lego games is something that was destined to happen. I'll definitely be checking this out again when we're closer to the release date: September 27th, 2015. I highly doubt I'll be as invested in this as I am with Amiibos, but this is still something I can see myself enjoying and getting into. It looks like Lego Dimensions will be released on all major platforms (Xbone, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3, Wii U) so that's cool too. I'm not sure whether the figurines will only work with one console or if they work across all of them, but I guess that's something we'll find out.
  3. The Amiibro Club

You know what this thread is for Post pictures of your grand collection, discuss Amiibos you're going after, share those Amiibo hunting tips, hoot and holler about amiibo-related announcements, laugh at Brandon who almost bought 2 Marths, 2 Villagers and 2 WFTs at retail price but then cancelled his order, or brag about your recent trip to Walmart which resulted in you finding a Little Mac amiibo stuffed inside a homeless guy's knapsack. Or just discuss amiibos in general. I'll start this off by sharing my collection: 's byootiful Note that I also have Diddy Kong back at home and, as I mentioned in another thread, I have Sonic, Mega Man and Sheik on the way. So that's 5 I own so far, and I feel somewhat proud that I've managed to get at least a few uncommon ones for close to retail price. I'm not sure at this point how many I'm going to get, but I can say that I have no interest at all in the upcoming Super Mario Bros series of amiibos. Smash 4 lyfe bby Now post those collections and be ready to brag. (For reals though keep it fairly humble and polite, the amiibo community is toxic enough)
  4. http://nintendonews.com/2014/11/toon-link-amiibo-lucario-amiibo-revealed/ Nintendo has announced the next wave of its Amiibo Figures!
