Update 5: Infinite Wisdom is here!   10/05/2017

Hey everyone, We’re back with another update that really mixes some stuff up. An entirely new challenging mode, a rebalance of the entire game to go with the rework of the new leveling progression numbers, ability to do the co-op intro online, faster PVP rounds, language translations and more! With the rebalance you’ll find that your fighters are dealing even more damage as they gain experience. All balance changes are retro-active meaning you do not have to worry about starting over or starting new characters in order to experience that – they’re all dynamically applied to what you already have! Feel free to check out what we’ve changed in the list below, and as always – please leave us feedback about anything you find noteworthy. As always, the main Story (although not included in this update) is being developed alongside all these improvements we have been releasing. Check out our blog for the full changelist: http://blog.thebehemoth.com/2017/09/28/update-5-infinite-wisdom-is-here/

      Pit People's Final Touches   11/21/2017

It has been nearly a year since we launched Pit People on early access. This journey has been an incredible experience! We’ve built a better game thanks to all your feedback. So here’s a spicy little situation: We’ve decided that our next big drop will be the FULL version of the game! Yes, it shall be complete! You’ll be able to play through the story and find out what happens for everyone.
As we write this, we’re working on the last of the cinematics for the story campaign! This is the final push towards completing the game, alongside additional story quests and a new world map with bonus missions.
Since there’s so much involved with these last steps (VO, animation, level creation, music licensing, QA testing, etc), we’re not exactly sure when everything will line up for a full release date, but we’re shooting to release within the first few months of 2018.
Thank you again to all of the people who’ve been playing Pit People during early access and to everyone who has been sending us feedback. It has truly been invaluable and we can’t wait to share the conclusion of Pit People with you all!

  1. My playlist "Zaplosion" had been taken down temporarily due to a false report, now it is back up and running! Thank you Behemoth team for your labor checking every reported playlist. Remember falsely reporting does nothing to the creator, only gives the Behemoth more work to do. It also damages your xbl rep a little every time you do it, enough times and Microsoft can investigate you and you could end up in a lot of trouble. Be kind to your community, be fair when rating, and most importantly don't falsely report a playlist! Thank you for your support! Picture created by fishysock
  2. Give a lot of details and examples please!!! I would like to see the following in a playlist: nice color combinations cool patterns lots of signs for cautions and directions hidden gems with distinct patterns unique puzzles unique obstacles old obstacles and puzzles with a new twist 3 gems in small levels 5 gems in medium levels 7 gems in large levels Different level sizes smart back tracking levels interesting names for your playlist A unique secret level or maybe even an adventure secret level A fun playlist A challenging playlist not hard More words in playlist levels, like "BOOM" in the level picture Better level names An actual story to go with your playlist with pictures and maybe a video I want people to make fan art for playlists they love I want to see sequels to great playlists but not a part two in the title, example: "Damaged Good", and obviously for a sequel part two would be "Damaged Bad". Less pathways more straight forward maps, nobody likes 6 different paths that you have to try each one to figure out where to start first, put a sign up. Also if your going to make a level where you back track, make sure to put directional signs with switch blocks that uncover a new sign that clearly tells you to go backwards. Most importantly have 5 people test your levels of different ages. Different ages means different skill levels which leads to you tweaking it to be easier. or harder. TWEAK YOUR LEVEL BASED OFF PEOPLE PLAYING ON IT, this will make it so every skill level of every age will have a clear understanding of what to do and if they can do it. This leads to high ratings!! And purposely try to break you level and have others try. No level is perfect so test, test, and test. Don't publish your playlist until your completely satisfied with every level or you'll have regrets. Well that is pretty much it, I hope people can improve there playlists off our suggestions combined. Thanks for participating!!!
