Update 5: Infinite Wisdom is here!   10/05/2017

Hey everyone, We’re back with another update that really mixes some stuff up. An entirely new challenging mode, a rebalance of the entire game to go with the rework of the new leveling progression numbers, ability to do the co-op intro online, faster PVP rounds, language translations and more! With the rebalance you’ll find that your fighters are dealing even more damage as they gain experience. All balance changes are retro-active meaning you do not have to worry about starting over or starting new characters in order to experience that – they’re all dynamically applied to what you already have! Feel free to check out what we’ve changed in the list below, and as always – please leave us feedback about anything you find noteworthy. As always, the main Story (although not included in this update) is being developed alongside all these improvements we have been releasing. Check out our blog for the full changelist: http://blog.thebehemoth.com/2017/09/28/update-5-infinite-wisdom-is-here/

      Pit People's Final Touches   11/21/2017

It has been nearly a year since we launched Pit People on early access. This journey has been an incredible experience! We’ve built a better game thanks to all your feedback. So here’s a spicy little situation: We’ve decided that our next big drop will be the FULL version of the game! Yes, it shall be complete! You’ll be able to play through the story and find out what happens for everyone.
As we write this, we’re working on the last of the cinematics for the story campaign! This is the final push towards completing the game, alongside additional story quests and a new world map with bonus missions.
Since there’s so much involved with these last steps (VO, animation, level creation, music licensing, QA testing, etc), we’re not exactly sure when everything will line up for a full release date, but we’re shooting to release within the first few months of 2018.
Thank you again to all of the people who’ve been playing Pit People during early access and to everyone who has been sending us feedback. It has truly been invaluable and we can’t wait to share the conclusion of Pit People with you all!

  1. Hey guys! I have an xbox one and i just love this game, but my friends have a PC and we cant play together! So we want CASTLE CRASHERS to have crossplay, maybe even for ps4 !please BEHEMOTH... IF YOU WANT TOO SHARE THIS IDEA AND REPLY... thanks
  2. BattleBlock Theater: Everytime i click the quick match button it always says all games are currently full. EVERYTIME i tried hosting, no one ever joined. I tried playing online for over 2 weeks and all games are always full. Something must be wrong. Castle Crashers: NEVER found any game. it says No Games Found. Please help, i'm really tempted to play with other people and get some achievements and also make friends. I'm bored playing local, i have sticks but i have no friends to play with. I beg you

  4. Multiplayer Problem

My friend invited me to play a multiplayer game on Castle crashers over on steam, but each time i try and join it, I Get the error "The game you are trying to join no longer exists." After 2 invites, I tried creating a game, but apparently, i can't... It tells me "failed to create game" without any other information. The problem obviously comes from my side, but I don't know whether it is a firewall problem or a steam problem... We played several multiplayers before, so I don't know what triggered the error this time..
  5. Hello. I have just bought Castle Crashers both for me and for my girlfriend on Steam. When we were trying to play together, we weren't able to. It always says that the "game is no longer available". We tried disabling firewall, it didn't work. When we try to join someone else's public game, I can do it just fine, but she can't even join public games. Can you help us somehow? It'd be really sad to find out that I've just bought two copies of the game to not be able to play together.
  6. Anyone have any cool ideas for multiplayer weapons/game modes? I know this is stupid, but I'd like a game mode where one team has to defend their "fort" while the other team attacks, or something like King of the Hill in which the team that has control of the fort gains points. I don't like to play the multiplayer modes as much, but I think it would be fun to create the maps in the level creator. Sometimes I like to just build forts and try to survive the onslaught of cats. For weapons I'd like to see some stationary weapons like the cannon things, but you can aim them. Also something like the energy ball, but without the upward lift, would be cool. I know these ideas will never come to be, but I'd like to hear some ideas from the community. Who knows, somebody's idea may be noticed!
  7. Gaming Controllers

I just bought this game and tried to play local multiplayer with my brother. I have 2 Logitech gamepads but they're slightly different. 1 controller has all the triggers as you'd see on any console: ABXY, LT, RT, etc. The other controller while very similar has its buttons labeled as 1,2,3,4,5, etc. The controller with the ABXY buttons works like a charm while the other controller has absolutely no response whatsoever in game. Is this intentional or a bug? Am I supposed to buy an XBox controller or at least specific gaming controllers for this game to work properly with my gamepad? I can't seem to find any other information about this on Google so I had to post and ask directly.
