Update 5: Infinite Wisdom is here!   10/05/2017

Hey everyone, We’re back with another update that really mixes some stuff up. An entirely new challenging mode, a rebalance of the entire game to go with the rework of the new leveling progression numbers, ability to do the co-op intro online, faster PVP rounds, language translations and more! With the rebalance you’ll find that your fighters are dealing even more damage as they gain experience. All balance changes are retro-active meaning you do not have to worry about starting over or starting new characters in order to experience that – they’re all dynamically applied to what you already have! Feel free to check out what we’ve changed in the list below, and as always – please leave us feedback about anything you find noteworthy. As always, the main Story (although not included in this update) is being developed alongside all these improvements we have been releasing. Check out our blog for the full changelist: http://blog.thebehemoth.com/2017/09/28/update-5-infinite-wisdom-is-here/

Awesome Games Done Quick (Game speedrun marathon LIVE)

Recommended Posts

Live Stream: http://speeddemosarchive.com/

Game schedule: http://speeddemosarc...athon/schedule/

Edit 5/22/12: Summer Games Done Quick Marathon starts from 5/24-28!!! The gang will be donating the proceeds to the Organization for Autism Research this time around.

Edit 1/6/12: New marathon is on now!!

Original post:

The guys at SDA are doing a game marathon right now, and they need your help to raise money for cancer research. Mike Uyama, the man who submitted a CC speed run for SDA (and shared it with us on this forum :D ) will be doing a 4 player speed run today. Enjoy, because these guys are really awesome at these games.

Sunday, January 9 Castle Crashers 8:23 PM 1:35:00 4-player co-op

Is there any way to watch it afterward? because I won't be home at that time :(

What is strange, they know when they'll finish a game, and their whole scheduel depends on it...

Well, when you have a bunch of guys that have practiced speed running these games for ages, it's not hard for them to estimate how much time they will take up. The times on the schedule are probably taken from the runner's best recorded time on that game.

It says 1:35 hours i am pretty sure it's an approximate, i thought it would be shorter, 4 people and all, i think that's about the time i can do lol

His record for single player is 1:14 so yes it should be shorter I think..

Best time: 1:14:34 by Mike Uyama on 2009-05-22.

I'm terrible at catching the latest AGDQ marathon

I just thought I'd update this though. The same links in the OP work (sadly, no Castle Crashers this time around)

I'm personally looking forward to the Super Meat Boy playthrough :D

Maaaan Speeddemosarchive is still around?

I remember going there around '04 to watch stuff.

I wonder if any of their times have improved like the 10 minute glitch ridden mario64 run.

Ha. I remember beating the world record for fastest completion of daxter (PSP), but I had no means of recording whatsoever. This game has many flaws, most of them momentum-related, that let you circumvent large parts of the game.
