New Registrations can now post threads with mod approval   02/08/2017

Just updated the permission settings so New Registrations can post threads in all forums that Members can -- but the first 3 posts/threads will still need to be approved by a Moderator before being upgraded to Member status. Member status = ability to post without going through Approval Queue, ability to change profile and edit signatures, ability to us the Private Messaging system.    As a reminder, this Approval Queue is put into place to prevent spammers from coming in and dropping harmful or offensive messages & links all over the place.    Please note that the moderators will do their best to approve as quickly as possible, but it may take a day or two during busy times. Multiple posts with the same information will be deleted and will not count towards the 3 posts, so please be patient and we'll get to your posts ASAP. Thanks!   Also, as a new member of our community, please feel free to introduce yourself to everyone in this thread:  Welcome to the Behemoth Forums! <3

Think there will be a Level Creator?

45 posts in this topic

think how fun it would be if they cam out with like block DLC for free where it added a bunch of block types! or like my dream:

a field goal block

and then you get shoulder pads or something as a weapon and it allows you to make people fly and you try to knock either a ball or a player through a field goal!

^dont know if im joking or not....

Couldn't tell if you were joking, then you not knowing if you were joking either made me sad face

A level editor would be a great addition. AndI think I heard that they are working on it. I think this game will rival LittleBigPlanet, due to them both being side scrollers and having level editors. But I will take BBT any day. And it seems LittleBigPlanet was influenced by PDA Games.

Agreed?

LittleBigPlanet is a PS3 exclusive, and BBT might not even have a Level Editor.

These are two completely different games. They won't be rivals.

I agree, there's not enough similarities for them to be rivals. Besides, I'm gonna buy LBP2 for my PS3 when I get one and I'll still buy BBT for my Xbox. They'll be played equally, and I shall not play favorites. Even if BBT will be awesome fun time for me

There is a lot that the behemoth has not released to us about the game, so a level creator is totally possible

that would actually be cool if you could play other peoples maps and if you got the gems and yarn you keep them

I think it would be cool without gems and yarn, i doubt they would put gems and yarn in the levels that you could use to get characters and weapons. But the idea is awesome. I also like how somebody above said that to publish it you have to be able to beat the level. Very creative and it would be awesome to see this

Well in the Gamecube PDA level editor. I belive you had to beat the level before you could save it.

I have the game on gamecube and was unaware about this unique feature of having a level editor. I will have to check that out

If they had it in the PDA version I will not be surprised if they put one in because BBT was based off of it.

Well, I'll be the one to say it, but I believe this thread has fulfilled it's purpose and is no longer needed. Lock?

There will be. I'm not sure which interview I saw it in, but it's floating around youtube if you want to find it.
