Update 5: Infinite Wisdom is here!   10/05/2017

Hey everyone, We’re back with another update that really mixes some stuff up. An entirely new challenging mode, a rebalance of the entire game to go with the rework of the new leveling progression numbers, ability to do the co-op intro online, faster PVP rounds, language translations and more! With the rebalance you’ll find that your fighters are dealing even more damage as they gain experience. All balance changes are retro-active meaning you do not have to worry about starting over or starting new characters in order to experience that – they’re all dynamically applied to what you already have! Feel free to check out what we’ve changed in the list below, and as always – please leave us feedback about anything you find noteworthy. As always, the main Story (although not included in this update) is being developed alongside all these improvements we have been releasing. Check out our blog for the full changelist: http://blog.thebehemoth.com/2017/09/28/update-5-infinite-wisdom-is-here/

      Pit People's Final Touches   11/21/2017

It has been nearly a year since we launched Pit People on early access. This journey has been an incredible experience! We’ve built a better game thanks to all your feedback. So here’s a spicy little situation: We’ve decided that our next big drop will be the FULL version of the game! Yes, it shall be complete! You’ll be able to play through the story and find out what happens for everyone.
As we write this, we’re working on the last of the cinematics for the story campaign! This is the final push towards completing the game, alongside additional story quests and a new world map with bonus missions.
Since there’s so much involved with these last steps (VO, animation, level creation, music licensing, QA testing, etc), we’re not exactly sure when everything will line up for a full release date, but we’re shooting to release within the first few months of 2018.
Thank you again to all of the people who’ve been playing Pit People during early access and to everyone who has been sending us feedback. It has truly been invaluable and we can’t wait to share the conclusion of Pit People with you all!

The Weekly Leaderboards Are Bugged.

Recommended Posts

For many including myself the weekly arena leaderboards for this week are bugged. For a lot of people it's not recording any wins or losses past a certain point. Some people are just stuck at an inaccurate score.

My score has been stuck at 8-0 with 8 points, even though I've won many more than that and lost some. I'm slowly being pushed down the leaderboards

I'm not sure what this is, and I haven't heard anything from the staff about it as a heads up, so I'll sticky this topic. This could be quite bad for those trying to compete for entry to the tournament.

I have been noticing then same issue. I'm fairly confident it was happening last week as well. I only had 20 some losses and i know that you guys have taken more games off me than that haha. i got beat 3 times in a row by "your name here" i think and they all were recorded as wins... It would be unfortunate if people who were better couldnt play enough games this week to be qualified because their matches were not recorded.

I anticipate this being a problematic situation. Hopefully it'll get resolved soon.

Back when Halfcoordinated played on XBLA, he mentioned having this problem for many of his matches. I think it was only temporary though.

And if your rank is dropping, the leaderboards must be working for other people. So it has to be a connection-based issue.

I do hope things get better for you all though. :-)

It's pretty disturbing, after a while of playing today (which I'm terrible btw, I can't seem to YY good enough when I X...) I decided to check the leaderboards, it said I was somewhere around 40/3. I know that I've lost quite a bit more than that... and I don't think I've won nearly that many.

EDIT: Put a comma in the wrong place. I stayed up this long just so I could change it -_-

Don't won't Dan the great players are already in by that I mean the ones who really want in and can juggle.

by that he means choboassassin and a600ftmongoose have secured their spot on the list, even that madbestkiller guy, although madbest only plays treasure...

Mine works for the most part. But with the amount of people who quit right as the game ends. I've noticed none of those are getting counted.

We're looking into this.

This report makes me nervous :|

Yeah, I almost wonder if the Fight To 3 Million qualifying round should be "redone" after this is fixed. But then again, I'm on PS3, not XBox, so have no idea how bad it is :)

Just FYI this happened to me too. I was very upset. I'm not the best juggler so I lost a few games, and whenever I lost I was awarded a win. The weekly leaderboards said I was like 20 something and 0 which wasn't true. (doesnt matter cause I'll be at work when the tournament goes on anyway). Just thought I'd provide another testimony.
