Update 5: Infinite Wisdom is here!   10/05/2017

Hey everyone, We’re back with another update that really mixes some stuff up. An entirely new challenging mode, a rebalance of the entire game to go with the rework of the new leveling progression numbers, ability to do the co-op intro online, faster PVP rounds, language translations and more! With the rebalance you’ll find that your fighters are dealing even more damage as they gain experience. All balance changes are retro-active meaning you do not have to worry about starting over or starting new characters in order to experience that – they’re all dynamically applied to what you already have! Feel free to check out what we’ve changed in the list below, and as always – please leave us feedback about anything you find noteworthy. As always, the main Story (although not included in this update) is being developed alongside all these improvements we have been releasing. Check out our blog for the full changelist: http://blog.thebehemoth.com/2017/09/28/update-5-infinite-wisdom-is-here/

Battleblock Theater Beta

Recommended Posts

How will you choose who gets to be one of the testers?

Do I need a gold account now? Or can I purchase it when the beta comes up? I don't feel like spending money on a 3 month right now.

FAQ up now! As announced on our Development Blog and on the Forums.

Just a suggestion to The Behemoth:

I have a tendency to stumble upon many bugs and glitches, so I might be a good choice for this... :P

Just a suggestion, I taught Zephyr to be a klutz and run into random bugs and glitches. It took many years of training in the mountains, but he finally learned the art. Let the master be in the beta, not the student ;-)

Let the master's master be in it, me... Oh wait... I'm 12.

Why you so mean, what'd I do wrong?

Man, I couldn't answer any of the questions with the quickness of the winners today on the TwitchTV live stream (btw, congrats to the winners :-D ). Hopefully I'll get in on one of the next competitions...

Good luck to everyone :!:

BBT is rated T. That means it is recommended that 13+ play T games. I'm not Behemoth staff, but I will say that (I think) they don't want anyone under 13 years old playing the beta for some of the content the game has and they don't want parents of kids under 13 contacting the developers about it. Just my thoughts, not a statement.

I don't really care anyway, I mean I would love to play it. But it's my brothers Xbox, and he threw it out a while ago, sooooo... Yah.

Will we be playing the entire game or a trial? Because some beta tests are just trial version of the game. like Ms. Splosion man.

There's a faq for these kinds of questions.

Yup! FAQ Here.

It won't have every level created for the game, but there will be a good sample. It is a bit different from the trial/demo of the game. This beta was created specifically so that multiple parts of the game will get played on multiplayer and so we can see how it runs in a real world environment.

You lie.

I sometimes just try to find glitches on purpose after I'm bored of a certain part of the game. (I found ALOT in Castle Crashers; I wish I could record all of them.) That shouldn't happen to BBT, though.

Yup! It shouldn't be more than 1.5 hours each day. Like you saw on the task list, a lot of it is just trying out the arena modes or story mode online..

Sounds simple enough. I'm keeping my fingers and toes (and eyes!) crossed!  :-D

Something like that is usually done via Hex editors, and NOT by glitching. Trust me, I know.
