Update 5: Infinite Wisdom is here!   10/05/2017

Hey everyone, We’re back with another update that really mixes some stuff up. An entirely new challenging mode, a rebalance of the entire game to go with the rework of the new leveling progression numbers, ability to do the co-op intro online, faster PVP rounds, language translations and more! With the rebalance you’ll find that your fighters are dealing even more damage as they gain experience. All balance changes are retro-active meaning you do not have to worry about starting over or starting new characters in order to experience that – they’re all dynamically applied to what you already have! Feel free to check out what we’ve changed in the list below, and as always – please leave us feedback about anything you find noteworthy. As always, the main Story (although not included in this update) is being developed alongside all these improvements we have been releasing. Check out our blog for the full changelist: http://blog.thebehemoth.com/2017/09/28/update-5-infinite-wisdom-is-here/

Hazard's note - One of the best weapons in the game, and many people think it is the best. If the agility subtraction was less, it would be the best in the game.  The agility is a huge problem for many pros, which is why it is not #1.  IF you can get past the agility deficit, it is great.

55323d.png

Stats : -2 Strength, +3 Defense, +6 Agility

Level Required : 20

Unlocked via - Skeleton (Rare drop or Unlock)

Good for Insane Mode ? - Easily

Hazard's Note - This is the Ultimate arrow spammer's weapon.  IMO this is a horrible tactic, but many people do it.

31/84 - Clunky Mace

rm1fk3.png

Stats : +5 Strength, -2 Agility

Level Required : 10

Unlocked via - Volcano Store (340 Coins)

Good for Insane Mode ? - Arguably

2qb8yyq.png

Stats : +5 Magic, -2 Defense, +3 Agility ; 2% Critical Hit Chance

Level Required : 20

Unlocked via - Snakey (Rare drop or Unlock)

Good for Insane Mode ? - Best Weapon in the Game

Hazard's Note - Negative defense does not matter at all on insane mode,  your health stays the same, and the damage that enemies do barely change (number of hits to die doesn't change from any enemy while holding it)  The +3 Agility increases arrow damage, which is nice for killing enemies in a pinch.  The +5 magic is very helpful for boss killing, but more importantly something explained soon.  The 2% critical hit translates to +5 strength.  With the magic boost, it creates the most powerful Elemental Combo possible.  Using one of those and getting a critical causes 864 damage.

11l6d87.png

Stats : +2 Strength, +1 Defense

Unlocked via - Beekeeper (Rare drop or Unlock)

eujwps.png

Stats : -3 Strength, +6 Magic, +1 Defense ; 1% Critical Hit Chance

Level Required : 20

Unlocked via - Fire Demon (Rare drop or Unlock)

Good for Insane Mode ? - Easily

Hazard's Note - Magic is relatively useless on Insane if strength is subtracted, but this is the best magic weapon in the game.

35/84 - King's Scepter

2zgfceo.png

Stats : +3 Strength, +2 Magic, +3 Defense

Level Required : 20

Unlocked via - King's DLC or let the King die on insane mode FloweryField (Don't attack)

Good for Insane Mode ? - Yes

Hazard's Note - Overall good weapon; nothing special about it.

The 2x4 and Rubber Handle aren't good swords really, I can tell you that much.

As for the guide, I really want to give you kudos for all the work. We could use a man like you over at Steam Guides, there it's difficult to find a guide that's not just

Wow, this must take a lot of effort and hard work. Good luck, and thanks for caring! :-D

Will you be covering the Rubber Handle and 2x4 Swords as well?

He already showed the Rubber Handle, so I would not be surprised if he covers the 2x4 in a later post.

Great job, this guide should be extremely useful in upcoming years, are you going to show off the Animal Orbs?

The 2x4 and Rubber Handle are good swords really, I can tell you that much.

I have them ;-)

I was curious in general, haha.

They're not the greatest, but they used to be amazing weapons for show

As for the guide, I really want to give you kudos for all the work. We could use a man like you over at Steam Guides, there it's difficult to find a guide that's not just

girrafey has 0.1 more xp per hit = OMG OMG OMG OMG SO OP

Great job! :)

I'm not someone who typically likes to play games on the PC (Don't kill me), but feel free to post these guides over there!  Just try to link these threads on your posts

Thanks for the good reception to another guide so soon! I covered both of those, but right now my row 11 post is glitched :/ .

Thanks Cat Guard, that's what I was hoping for making these guides recently.  I'll be doing Animal Orbs soon, going to be highlighting tips/tricks and how to unlock all characters soon.  I'll eventually make an ultimate story mode guide and have all these threads linked to it.

Also, does anybody know how to fix my Row 11 post?

Edit - Thanks A C Cret, it works great now.

Whoa! What a guide! I can tell you put a lot of effort into these things and they're quite amazing, really. If I have one suggestion, maybe specify what makes certain weapons "Good for Insane Mode" and others not? The "maybe"s in particular are very vague - perhaps it would help adding short and easy descriptions for each like "very little damage" or "extremely slow". You've put a lot of work into this already though, and it looks fantastic; I'm sure plenty of castle-crashing gamers will benefit from looking at this. Great job!

As for your Row 11 post, I'm not sure how to fix that other than starting over with it. That programmy junk doesn't look like BBCode, so it might be something funky with how the post was saved? idk

Thanks for the feedback Grant! The 'good for insane mode' was a last minute idea I got while looking at Gamesketch's video to see where certain dig spots were.  I'll definitely refine this more tomorrow and put in notes on most of the weapons.

It sucks that that post for row 11 got screwed up, but at least I still have the url's to the weapon pictures visible in that post (I would having to re-upload because that was what took the most time).

Click on edit, then the two blue < > in the 2nd-to-top bar, and open the HTML editor. Set it to HTML, starting line 1, then copy-paste all the "programmy junk" in there and click ok. I think that will format it properly.

This was wrong. Uhh, yeah. Ignore all that.

So does the alien gun get put in the weapon frog when you play as the alien? I thought it was the Pitchfork-glitched guns that were put in there.

I have them too. Also, I had a typo, I meant to write they aren't good swords.

Yes, actually, considering I always use the raw code when posting. This means yes, I even write it out when I want something bolded or italicized, and even know most of the smileys by heart. As for what happened, I have no idea how, but all of your coding somehow got switched into C++ (I believe, from experience). So, there are two ways I can think of to deal with this...

You either have to redo the entire thing, which I know you don't want to, or you can pick out the surviving code and transplant it into a piece of code from an earlier section.

I know, this wasn't the answer you wanted, but...

I had some free time on my hands :-)

Woah Hazard, you are doing great things for the current/upcoming community. After 3 years of playing CC I still learned from this post :D

Deducting agility can be a VERY bad thing, because you need it for dodging, alignment, juggling and arrow potency.

I actually find Gold Skull Mace much superior to the Club, because unlike a lot of people I actually LOVE agility, and plus the Gold Skull Mace is equal to the Club in terms of Damage Output, except that it has no negative stats.

Overall a good list. :)

My Top 10

1. Ribeye

2. Sai

3. Snakey Staff

4. Glowstick

5. Skeletor Mace

6. Gold Skull Mace

7. Ninja Claw

8. Fishing Rod (it's my lucky weapon ;3)

9. Cardboard Tube

10. Lollipop
