Okay, so I took the Full Moon needed for the PS3 out since there are two saying that it's needed and two that it's not. I'm going to leave it off until it can be verified by someone else.

After testing twice, I can confirm that Full Moon can be skipped for the PS3. It leaves an arrow over the stage, but you can still get the gold skull.

I don't know where post it but I finally reached 100% on trophies yesterday. :D

http://img214.imageshack.us/img214/9439/sdasm.png

With my Blue Knight LV 87(now 88) and 2 other guys.

I'm sad that I've waited this game for 2 years and now, in less than 7 days It's all finished.

Now I'll replay with other characters for sure.

Anyway, very very great PSN title, with some problems (enemy's damage unbalanced in Insane mode, poor options on matchmaking [why I can't choose to let enter only player who have Insane unlocked?]) but a big experience.

If your the type of person that has no problem beating insane then about maybe 7 or more hours if you do it alone starting from level 28. And normal mode only takes like 3 hours.
hahaaha come on MadBest, regular only takes like almost 2 hours for me

So I have to ask, if u wanted to use magic on insane mode, who would be the best person to use for it then? I know that u would want a high defense/health, but if u need magic what character then?

Most people would go with the Industrialist, because of his buzzsaw splash. But I say go against the flow. Pick the Fencer character.

Viva la Revolucion!

I think any character would be fine, you just need to learn your combos well (XXYY for LW and XYY for MW)

This way you won't get hit too much.

If you try to stand your ground and use magic, you will die in no time.

I'll make it easy for you

Red knight- big groups

Orange knight- big groups

Green knight- big groups

Blue knight- big groups

Industrail/Fencer- bosses

Snakey/Brute- bosses

Beekeeper- elevated bosses (air born or high up)

Arrow magic- ground not much use

King- heal when out of potions

Bomb characters- Crowd control and landing attacks

Rest of the characters mainly ground control stuff...

Unique Insane Mode Level Guides would be worth while.

Each level is a pain in the balloon, and there's no saying how to beat it.

Juggling. XXYY on lightweight, XYY on midweight, XXXYY on heavyweight.

There is some info on the bosses on the wikis

http://castlecrashers.wikia.com/wiki/Bosses

http://castlewiki.castlecrashers.com/index.php?title=Bosses

Juggling just doesn't work for me.

It kinda half-works, but...

I can go back and forth 2 times max, then he INEVITABLY sinks lower and lower,

obviously bringing him to the ground and I have to re-do the juggle.

Myself and many others need..SPECIFIC buttons to press to learn the juggle.

Because it's frustrating.

I tried all the combos while juggling, none can keep me going.

If it helps.. my stats are maxed..?

I can't do squat at lvl 84.

I'm at the cyclops boss, and I go solo.

You can always spam arrows and dodge his hits. He is pretty easy to dodge, just go up or down right before he hits.

You should try doing XXY Pause XXY Pause before XXYY, because it's easier to get altitude. Then just add the Y instead of the pause.

I realized he's not too difficult at all on insane.

Well...he is if you let him hit you.

Most bosses can be defeated with Y,Y,Y,Y air juggles.. spamming y keeps you in the air and is extremely easy to do.

Bosses like cyclops/barbarian are weak when you are at the top or the bottom of the screen. Spam magic or y,y,y,y juggle then move up or down when they are about to strike. I'm more notorious for killing bosses with juggles then non bosses.

Also most bosses can be defeated if one person blocks while the other spams magic from behind.

Most levels can be skipped and for the ones that you don't want to then search topics on it. Watch a few solo insane mode videos on youtube...

Being a level 99 and having everything won't give you them easy..

You need to know juggles, weaknesses, timing.

Theres people who can't beat lava world...

To me it's easy if youve done it enough times...

Desert level used to be my favourite since I always practiced killing the beatles to the extreme. Now i skip the levels since it's easier. If you dont have anyone with 1 gold skull then its a pain cause you can't skip.

Anyhow... i find insane mode not as insane now that i know what to skip.

Me and otto are working on a video on what to skip etc...

Will be done soon

I know what can be skipped, but I'm solo so I can't skip any anyway.

But I make sure to remember the key stages that save the game.

WOWWOWWWW

I almost beat Lava World on my very first try without juggles.

I got to the boss, almost beat him, like half a minute left to kill him, then...

BAM! Some balloon face crits me and kills me in ONE HIT!

He hit over 900 WTF!!

And I think it was the Fire Demon that did it.

Now watch, the next time I try it, I won't even get to the boss, just watch lol.

(not talking about the volcano boss, he was easy)

If you have maxed arrows you can get on the higher ground just before the socket eats you and spam them. It will take longer but be safer, just avoid the falling rocks.
