I was thinking of making a Fender jack-o-lantern, but this seems WAY more rewarding.

Hey, good timing! Just carved up a lil' something' somethin' last night.

Step 1: Drawin' time. I think I used a dry erase marker, so it would wipe off easily when I didn't need it anymore.

Step 2: I pin-pricked the entire design so I wouldn't have to worry about wiping it off anymore. This managed to tattoo the design into my pumpkin, which was not really what I had in mind. Whoops.

Step 3: The result! It looks good in the light...

I don't mean to clog up this topic with my pictures, but there are more on the way with an exciting conclusion. :P

Step 3.5: Rotate the pumpkin a little to show off the side.

Pazzo 4.jpg

Step 4: Light it up with the intense blaze of a single candlepower! This is the part where I realized I wasn't thinking about how it would look in the dark with a candle in it. I really ought to have reversed the "light" and "dark" parts, but it's been a long, long time since I've carved a pumpkin... that was disappointing, although the effect is that Pazzo looks like he's got much more of a traditional Jack O'Lantern face. And I think I'm gonna thin down the "not cut all of the way through" bits more tomorrow. Er, today. I haven't figured out a good way to do that, though.

Step 5: Place it in an awesome action pumpkin scene with the Orange Knight!

I also helped out with the Orange Knight pumpkin. I didn't carve it, but I drew the flames and the sword ( :P I know, wow, huh) onto the pumpkin.

Inverting the lit Pazzo is the best way to explain what I did wrong, in fact. If you carve out a Pazzo, please do it the opposite way of how I did it!

Now I really am just cluttering this up with needless extra pictures. I think this one is needed, though, to show the cat-filled atmosphere of my pumpkins.

The end!

Well, I said I'd do something, and here it is:
Image

Its my first ever pumpkin carving :) Excuse the bad picture, I had to use my phone :|

Its supposed to be the skull and crossbones from the Ninjer's headband. However when drawing my design onto the pumpkin, I didn't have a picture of it in front of me...so it turned out a little sucky

Thinking of it...I could have made something way better than this

Ah well, even if it doesn't win me anything, I had a lot of fun making it :D Honestly, I haven't laughed so hard in ages ;)

So here's our team costume. Took a lot of time and effort at the last minute, but we had a lot of fun doing it!
(I'm the red one)
