  1. I don't think LAN or Local Multiplayer has been included in the PC version of this game, however it would be nice to hear a dev clear this up for us. Local Multiplayer would have been great for me, since I own multiple X-box controllers and like to play games with my friends when they come over to my house.
  2. If you're willing to invest that much time, I'd have to say go for it! It would certainly be appreciated by all of us
  3. As do I. So do I lol. Let me explain what I mean in more detail. Let's say someone i playing a game at 60FPS. That's awesome. Suddenly, it drops to 30FPS. That person will most definitely notice the drop. Now, if that same person were playing at, say, 120FPS, and suddenly, it drops to 60FPS. They're not going to notice the difference if they're actually playing the game. The naked human eye would not be able to comprehend the drop from 120FPS to 60FPS since it's so fast. I'm not saying you can't see that fast, because technically, you can. But, you wouldn't be able to look at the game you're playing and say for sure that it is 60FPS or 120FPS. I would have to agree that when you're playing a game and it drops down to 60fps from 120fps you wouldn't be able to say that your fps have dropped by 60, but when you compare 2 moving images, one at 60fps and the other one at 120fps you would definitely be able to tell the difference. An example of a game where you will notice a huge difference is Counter Strike for instance, with 120fps gameplay plays and looks a lot smoother.
  4. There's a "quote" button, you know. Everyone keeps treating this like it's Twitter or something. And you could have at LEAST gotten my name right. And you keep telling yourself that, then. I know that due to biological constraints, the naked human eye cannot perceive the difference between 60 FPS and 120 FPS. Your brain can't perceive changes in lighting fast enough to see the difference. And even if it could, it would be so minute that it would't even make a difference. This is absolutely wrong, why do you think companies manufacture 120hz monitors, which cost a lot more to build, if the human eye couldn't perceive more than 60 fps? This is not what he said, he said the human eye couldn't see the difference between, not that they can't see more than. If Pocket meant that you can't see more than 60fps, please, feel free to correct me. Sorry about that, what I meant is that the human eye can tell the difference between 60 and 120fps, but that doesn't really change my argument.
  5. Do you mean a sort of 2.5D, where Character models and the environment are rendered in 3D, but you're limited to moving from left to right and up and down? Otherwise I can't see how side scrolling would work in a 3D game.

This is absolutely wrong, why do you think companies manufacture 120hz monitors, which cost a lot more to build, if the human eye couldn't perceive more than 60 fps? I've heard all kinds of different statements, some saying the human eye can't perceive more than 24fps, others saying it doesn't go beyond 30, 60, 100 or 120 fps and they would all be wrong. I have a 120hz monitor myself and can set the refresh rate of it in the Nvidia settings, changing from 120 down to 60 makes quite a bit of a difference, even if it's not as big as the change from 60 down to 30.
  7. They've already said countless times, that they aren't a big developer studio and can't afford developing games for multiple consoles at once, also they don't hate the PS3 it's just easier to develop games for the 360.

    Portal 1/2

I got the 360 version, but later i decided to buy the Valve complete Pack for 80 bucks, and played Portal on PC too. This game is really amazing, GLaDOS got the best voice ever! I hope they will make a sequel
