  1. Hey, it's that guy everyone hates. Say hi! It's Fel I guess that answers my question.
  2. Is this forum the same old "i hate my life humanity is [redacted], animals ftw" thing?
  3. Didn't think you guys really expected Capcom to make a game that they can't dime and nickel.
  4. Pretty weird standards for what the "greatest cartoon ever" is.
  5. I always thought it was an incredibly generic show with a pleasing aesthetic.
  6. Uhh, no. That analogy doesn't work at all. Mainly because I never said anything about rules in a game. I was talking about how the communities of a genre accept something in them. Last I checked, there aren't any features that both Pikmin and Starcraft both share have that are complained about in one and not the other. Keep grasping at straws and changing what people said to make a point, Balobo. ...I'm not changing what you're saying, changing your bullshit probably would help you more in the long run. You're saying that, because other games have cheap combos, we should just accept this and refrain from doing anything that would prevent this game from being a mindless jugglefest. Essentially, you're implying all games should share flaws because the community for one game is exploiting that game's flaw.
  7. It's not that hard to surpass the PS3 graphically. Almost all mid-range PCs surpass the PS3 in power. That being said, it better surpass the 360 and PS3 by a significant margin if they want third parties to support them.
  8. So all games should be the same and follow the same rules? That seems a little boring to me but if that's how you like your games then I can't change your opinion. Pikmin should follow Starcraft rules because they're both RTS games.
  9. Is juggling seriously such a competitive strategy? Both users doing the same exact repetitive move is competitive? I'm pretty glad I'm not a competitive player then. I like variety and fun.
  10. So you only find interest in the game because you have a cheap advantage over the other players? Not because of the actual quality of the game itself?
  11. That's some loving poopy logic. If you're not going to recommend a good game because it doesn't have juggling in it, you're really not a good fan anyways. Companies can do much better than cater to you.
  12. They would find out pretty easily by just watching some of the tournament videos.
  13. I think it's obvious enough that you don't believe juggling is unfair.
  14. I think you answered your own question. Naturally. While they didn't complain, Dan has expressed interest in increasing the gravity on juggled opponents after seeing the jugglefest tournament.
  15. It's okay to forfeit arguments What use is it anyways? Things are already proving to be in my favor, with the gravity increase and whatnot. I don't have to argue anymore, considering that there really won't be anything to argue about soon enough.
  16. So, jugglers are the Castle Crashers variant of people that spam frag grenades in some shooters? I mean, it's impractical to use the other weapons because they usually don't kill instantly. Also, I have no trouble with juggling, I just don't like juggling to the extent of taking half of the opponent's health away. Increasing gravity isn't going to make juggling impossible (I don't want that), but it's going to make it a hell of a lot harder to win a game using only juggling.
  17. I can juggle .-. I usually do it in insane mode. I'll brb. Hahahahaha, nope. Sorry. Well, I suppose it could be... if you don't know any other combos that is. No, it is boring. Why do you think your battle with Wootywootman was so boring? I don't really see how two people slashing their weapons idiotically is more boring than one person idiotically swinging their weapon in the air and one person doing nothing. Our match was boring because we were tied 2-2 and a gold plated xbox 360 was on the line. Neither of us were taking any chances, and we both played very defensively. A lot of the other matches were quite exciting. Also, juggling in insane mode and juggling in arena are two completely different things. I'm waiting for you to come up with a juggle that is more complicated. Bear tornado combo is, but that's character specific Why does it need to be another juggle? Why can't players just make use of every feature of the game and use the other combos that were put in the game for a reason instead of relying on one combo to do all the heavy lifting for them? It's not even that hard of a combo. Well, not hard enough for players that only know that one combo to be considered more experienced that players that know every combo at least. You do realize that this game is a hack n slash, right? So every game element except for juggling is casual?
  18. I can juggle .-. I usually do it in insane mode. I'll brb. Hahahahaha, nope. Sorry. Well, I suppose it could be... if you don't know any other combos that is. No, it is boring. 19. I'll get over it as soon as you leave/are banned. Whatever comes first.
  20. Yes, you''re right. But the opinion is shared by the majority of the communities of every other competitive fighting game which was my main point. .Because memorizing the combo is always considered the hard part right? Although it's ironic that you brought that up since you don't know the combo yourself. I suppose it is hard to memorize since you forget it so easily. I press the blue button once and I press the yellow button three times. I can juggle, I'm just not good at using it on another juggler, if that makes any sense. Also, please stop bringing other fighters into this. Just because they support cheap tactics doesn't mean we have to .-.
  21. Repetition is a good way to learn things in my opinion. It's probably already been said at least a dozen times now but 1 really hard combo > a bunch of easy combos. That goes for a lot more games than Castle Crashers. If the combo was drastically harder to memorize than the other combos, you may have an argument on your hand. But it's just XYYY over and over again. Is XYYY hard to memorize?
  22. I'm just going to question this one point here. So a player that only memorizes one combo and ignores everything else has more practice and experience than one that uses variety in their combos, but doesn't do much juggling?
  23. You're not going to kill them with just magic attacks and arrows, not to mention that you'll likely spend a lot of your time running around/shielding.
  24. Look, it's not that juggling is easy, per se. It's that it causes so much damage and is impossible to get out of. THAT'S what makes it cheap, rolling into somebody and mashing the X and Y buttons over and over again can be easily reversed by the opponent. Also, yes it does require practice to master, BUT it evidently isn't really a super hard thing to get down. If it was, less people would know how to do it and arena wouldn't be so love up right now. Being trapped in a juggle is your fault to begin with. In a fighting game such as this one, your entitled to your own play style, if you prefer not to juggle, that's your choice. However, that doesn't mean that you shouldn't be able to defend yourself against other forms of the combat system, such as juggling. As you've said, mashing the X and Y button can be easily reversed by a player, and competitive players of the game lean away from any attacks that can leave them wide out in the open. Sure your losing an incredible amount of health, but it's your fault for allowing yourself to be juggled in the first place. This may be somewhat hard to do, but you need to practice to defend yourself, such as jugglers practice. But the problem is that it's harder to defend yourself from juggles than it is to pull one off. That's what turns so many new players off. That's what makes it unfair. It's kind of absurd that you say "it's your fault for allowing yourself to be juggled in the first place." It really isn't as easy to avoid as you think it is.
