  1. I'll usually play singleplayer first with new games. It usually gets my skills up and over the learning curve before I do anything else.
  2. BBT has a level editor too right? That'd be an endless well of free user-made DLC if they implement it like Trials Evolution.
  3. I didn't get an extra beta invite either. I'm guessing that the OP won a contest and got in the normal way so he ended up with two beta keys.
  4. I don't think it will because a lot of the people that are doing it haven't gotten accepted yet. I was just joking and poking fun at the people sucking up to Behemoth a little on the thread. But I guess it might have worked since I just got the email saying that I'm in! [insert more flattery] But seriously though, thanks Behemoth! Good luck to everyone else here, hopefully you guys get chosen too.
  5. I open up programs like photoshop and Autodesk Maya often. On other computers like the workstations at my school, those take a while to load up. With my SSD, it loads up pretty much instantly. I guess it may or may not be worth it to get an SSD depending on what you do.
  6. I chose a Cat Guard T-shirt! Can't wait for it to arrive!
  7. I made this animation last semester. I did all of the animation in a crazy 2 day frenzy because I was busy making the puppet and coffin. It was assigned like a week before it was due and I went over the 15 sec time minimum lol. Take a gander if you like. I'm really new to animation and I'm at an art school for my first year, but I have to say that it all really depends on yourself no matter what. As great as some professors are, they can only do so much to help you. So yeah, if you have the motivation and the talent to learn it all on your own, most companies wont care that you don't have a degree. I keep hearing it again and again, its all about the reel. On the flipside, being at a school that teaches animation will surround you with other people really interested in animation. It helps a lot to get some outside perspective on things that you are working on and the progress you're making on your own skills.
  8. As far as I know, your build looks pretty good. Also, if you can afford it, I'd recommend getting an SSD (about 128gb would be good). Use that as the boot drive and a standard HDD for storage. All of your games, programs and files start up/load super fast. Not to mention, you wont ever have to wait more than 30 seconds for your computer to start. I get about 20 second startup times with my build. Just a suggestion! I'm glad I got an ssd when I was building, so I thought I'd mention it.
  9. [insert flattering statement about BBT and/or The Behemoth] Hopefully this improves my chances of getting in the beta. Everyone else seems to be doing it.
  10. Wow, thanks guys! I'm glad you liked it. Congrats to all of the other winners as well. Thanks for hosting this contest, Behemoth! It was a lot of fun.
  11. Yup, theres's no chance I'm gonna win now No idea what you're talking about. Your picture's really good!
  12. Good thing there's more than one winner in this contest then. Definitely more than one nice entry so far imo.
  13. I believe they develop the game in flash. Dan's done a few development videos and posted them on The Behemoth's youtube. This one is one of their latest; check 'em out. They're really cool to watch. It looks like flash to me.
