  1. Our team is headed back to Raptr for another helping of Raptr Q&A, but this time with a live streaming event! Dan Paladin (Co-Founder/Art Director), Will Stamper (Narrator for BBT), Larry Bolden (Compliance Specialist), and I, Megan Lam (Community Captain) are taking over the Raptr Twitch channel on Monday, May 12 from 2:30-3:30PM PDT to demo the upcoming Steam version of BattleBlock Theater; we’ll show you what’s new and improved! Then right after the stream, Emil Ayoubkhan (Project Manager) and Ian Moreno (Production Coordinator) will join us to answer all of your BattleBlock Theater or Behemoth-related questions on the Raptr Q&A page. You can start leaving your Qs in the Raptr Q&A page HERE — and if you “Like” the questions you want answered the most, we’ll try to get to those first! Make your questions count as we’re giving away free five Steam copies of BattleBlock Theater, Behemoth swag (Cat guard dog toy + raccoon key chain combo), and 500 Reward Points to the best questions asked (as determined by Raptr staff). Hope to chat with y’all on Monday!
  2. We’re excited to announce that our friends Mega64 will be joining us on our next Play with the Devs live Twitch TV stream next Thursday! We’ve and are happy to have the chance to bring them to our studio for a super two hour long episode where The Behemoth and Mega64 team up to duel the gaming community! Yes, Rocco, Derrick, and Shawn of Mega64 will be pairing up with Dan, Aaron, Kyle and Megan of The Behemoth for an epic battle in BattleBlock Theater. We’ll host the games under Mr P Furbottom and Mr H Hattington and play the newest Arena features playlist against random teams of fans. Join us in the chatroom, watch us play or play against us on June 27th! Play with the Devs w/ guest star Mega64 Date: Thursday, June 27th, 2013 Time: 1:00 p.m to 3:00 p.m PDT For our first hour, we’ll be doing some local game play with the Mega64 guys and then opening it up to the community in the second hour. So you can watch us battle each other and find our weaknesses before you go up against us! Location: Our Twitch TV channel
  3. Since opening night, players everywhere have embraced the BattleBlock Community Theater as the best place in the whole world to share your thoughts and dreams, so long as your thoughts and dreams looked exactly like BattleBlock Theater levels. Otherwise, you may just want to start a journal blog. But, far from the prying eyes of the Community Theater community, a new and awesome ritual was also being held each week to identify which levels would become the next Furbottom’s Feature (FF). It is a ritual so new and so awesome, that it has no name. …though for awhile it was known as “The Pickening”, but that sounded dumb so it went back to having no name again. Normally, this mysterious process would remain hidden away, deep within The Behemoth’s bowels- but no longer! This Thursday from 3:00pm-5:00pm PDT, three of The Behemoth’s level designers will emerge on our Twitch.tv channel to play and discuss this week’s Coop Adventure candidates; three playlists will enter, but only one will become the next Furbottom’s Feature! We call it “Design with the Devs”, and yes, that’s 3 playing 3 at 3, not only because that sounded cool, but also because that’s all the time and level designers we have. With any luck, all of those numbers will add up to you learning more about why we pick what we pick when we pick a playlist to be featured. Whether you choose to chat with your hand flanges or stare with your seeing-eye-bulbs, we hope you enjoy this first opportunity to sit and judge the way we sit and judge you. Hurray! or Facebook Event Share with your friends!
