Castle Crashers Remastered - Save Transfer

With Castle Crashers Remastered coming to Steam, I was wondering if they would have an ability to transfer your original save from the normal Castle Crashers to the Remastered version.

 

Also, there has been rumors that the Remastered version is coming to Steam as an update, not a new game. Is this true?

As much as it would be awesome, I highly doubt it will allow you to transfer..

Although it might sound like it sucks, but to me that's great news. I accidental lost all my stuff and the thought of it getting reset either way makes me a feel a little better.

I don't know about this. Games such as Minecraft or Happy Wars have easily allowed you to  transfer saved datag from X360 to Xbox One. So yes, it is possible; but I don't know if the developers would implement this feature.

Actually, all the Sava data for Castle Crashers and BattleBlock Theater are saved online. So it wouldn't be so farfetched for save transfer to be possible.
