Jesse James 0 Report post Posted November 26, 2018 There is a clear interest for your content on the switch. I just bought mine and I was disappointed that none of your games were available. Head on over to KS and start a campaign and watch everyone kickstart the $#%t! out it! I absolutely love the games you guys put out but I’m not buying an XBONE so please hear the fans and port them over. We all get that the big N may not be the easiest company to work with but the more consoles the better!

Dethssilence 1 Report post Posted December 18, 2018 Every week or so I come searching for this thread just to see if there are any updates. There seems to be a huge following for your games and it really would be so amazing to be able to take Castle Crashers with me on the go since I basically carry my switch with me everywhere. I’d whole heartedly sign up tomorrow for whatever amount you may ask to get this game playable on my switch. On a a side note I love you guys and all of the hard work you do and would love not only to play castle crashed on the switch but every other one of your games. This is one of those shut up and take my money situations for me! So what I guess I’m saying is thank you for the amazing games and all that you put into what you already have but on a selfish note please listen to our ramblings of insanity and help make this dream of a lot of ours a reality. Whether on Kickstarter or with the outreach of supporters here, there definitely seems to be a following for your games on the switch. lots of love from a loyal supporter, Mike

Gigabowser 0 Report post Posted March 3, 2019 Enter the Gungeon just sold it’s millionth copy on the switch. It has sold about 2 million copies across all platforms. There is no doubt in my mind that Castle Crashers would sell even better than Enter the Gungeon! So why isn’t this being ported?!? Surely the amount of time it would take to port would be worth Behemoth’s while when looking at how much money they would make.

Ceresbane 3 Report post Posted March 14, 2019 (edited) With how the tweet emphasises joy cons. I noticed right away a bit problem with that. You need 4/3 shoulder buttons to play. So the solution I thought of is. If you hold the item button (yes aware you need to hold boomerang to throw it-sucks but might have to remove the charge throw on joy con play). Your shoulder buttons become able to scroll through items, replacing the block and magic button. unrelated note Please tell me all the weapons are available. Having that empty slot because of the rubber handled sword is gonna feel crappy. Edited March 14, 2019 by Ceresbane didnt want to double post.
Luccian26 1 Report post Posted July 25, 2019 Just signed up for an account to add I'm over here biting my nails waiting for more info on timeline of release for this! Got super excited back in March with the release news, now I'm starting to wonder if the game will arrive for summer at all? Not going to discourage me from buying the minute it comes out, just wanted to express my interest and see if anyone here knew something I didn't on timeline? Roxanne 1 Report post Posted July 25, 2019 Heya! We are still intending on a summer release for the game, even though we're headed into late summer. Bringing a game (even a port!) to a new set of consoles creates lots of new challenges, and we're working out the last few kinks to ensure that the game will be in the best shape possible for launch. That takes time, and even though we want to get the game out as soon as we can, we don't want to rush anything and sacrifice quality. But it is definitely on its way! Gigabowser 0 Report post Posted August 12, 2019 I’m beginning to wonder if CCR for Switch is going to get shadow dropped in a Nindie Direct at the end of August or early September. Why else would they still have not announced a release date?

There has been a Nindie Showcase in late August for the past 2 years. Maybe that is what they're waiting for? It will sell way better if it is featured in a Nindie Showcase rather than just releasing it without any advertising.
eternistarr 0 Report post Posted August 22, 2019 So there is a month left until summer is technically over. Is there any news on when we get to have some switch fun? Now is a good time there are a ton of games coming out in a month or two. i'd hate to see this gem lost in the sea of new releases.

Shinobi088 0 Report post Posted September 14, 2019 Why is it $14.99 in the US but £15.29 in the UK? It should be less £'s than $'s, not more. I'm sure I saw a few articles recently quote it to be released at £12.99 (which sounded pretty reasonable given I'd be buying it for a third time), but at a 27% markup vs the US I think I'll skip out of principle until it's on sale. Luccian26 1 Report post Posted September 17, 2019 *FINAL EDIT* Debunked! It felt wrong and apparently SwitchUp was in fact wrong on their original video posting. Can't wait to hit some CC tonight! I've read couch co-op on the switch does not allow for the second player to save their progress, is this true? And if so is it going to be patched? This has to be a bug right? I've not seen anything on this forum so please forgive me if this is a double post! *EDIT* According to one player they have found you can in fact sign in with a second account on the knight selection screen you simply press the 'Y' button. I have purchased the game and will be following up here this afternoon to confirm.

Price differences between regions are due to the variety of fees and taxes that come with selling our games in different parts of the world. It's not ideal, but we are constantly trying to update prices whenever we can to make sure things stay as even as possible.

You are correct about the Y button for local multiplayer; it will work as long you have multiple user profiles to choose from on your Switch. That way, player progress will be saved for each individual.
Mannyphy 0 Report post Posted September 25, 2019 Hi Everyone, I have ran into an issue with co-op at the knight selection screen the 2nd player option doesn't show up when I press Y. Instead the game just starts in 1 player mode, is it something I am doing wrong? I really want to play with others but it;s not allowing me to do so. Is there a process to get player 2 to work with the profiles, Can anyone explain to me if I am doing it wrong? Thanks!

Not 100% sure what the issue might be, but there are a few things we can try... - Are you playing local co-op? If you're trying to play online, Player 2 will not be able to select a user profile. They can still play, but will have to use a guest account due to the limitations of Nintendo Online. - Do you already have additional profiles set up on your Switch? Please make sure that these exist before you launch the game. - Is Player 2 hitting their own Y button? Please remember that if they are using a single joy-con turned sideways, this button will be the leftmost button and not necessarily the actual Y button. I am not trying to play online I’m just playing the local play adventure mode. I’m still confused with the profiles everyone’s talking about. I have 3 accounts setup on my switch, are those the profiles you’re talking about?
