Zwolf11 0 Report post Posted December 21, 2008 there's only one thing I don't like about paint.net, whever you move something the let go of it, it deletes all of the pixels behind of it, reguardless if its on a different layer. In the history box it is referred to as finishing the pixels. I don't think there's any way of turning it off
Chris 1,206 Report post Posted December 21, 2008 No there isn't It can be annoying but it has more potential than GIMP for stuff like this

Ah, but have you actually tried paint.NET? I thought the same thing, until I actually had a go at using it You can't criticize until you've actually attempted something with it

Ah, but have you actually tried paint.NET? I thought the same thing, until I actually had a go at using it You can't criticize until you've actually attempted something with it I have. It's way too basic, it's basically the same thing as Microsoft Picture It with a few more filters. You can't make very advanced artwork, or some of the stuff I do with that. Gimp is the way to go. Chris 1,206 Report post Posted December 21, 2008 In that case I guess its all down to personal choice I still use GIMP, but I definitely prefer paint.NET. I've never been able to create anything close to my current signature or avatar using GIMP

I'mACup 0 Report post Posted December 23, 2008 Not bad. You people are getting the hang of it quickly. I would like to post all my signatures and stuff, but I don't really want to steal your spotlight.
Chris 1,206 Report post Posted December 23, 2008 'Steal your spotlight'!? That's not what the forums are about, you know? Nobody cares how good you are at making signatures, so don't get all cocky about them I post these ones here purely for fun I know they're probably nowhere near as good as some others
The Gunslinger 1 Report post Posted December 23, 2008 I like the little lights at the bottom left corner, how'd you get that effect?

But thats not the point... All you newer signature makers have been openly advertising and taking signature requests from everyone. I just want the attention to still be on you, and let you guys be the people who make signatures for everyone. So sorry, for being considerate.
