Bloob 585 Report post Posted December 30, 2009 I don't think that any game would be worth spending tons of money on. I would consider playing it if you didn't have to pay a monthly fee.

Mech200 0 Report post Posted December 31, 2009 Lvl 80 Troll Shaman on Draenor. My account got hacked recently tho . I like CC and AH way better tho. And Brutal Legend is better by far. It's pretty fun, but I prefer RPGs with action. AH and WoW are two completely different games, I dont see how you can compare them I compare games as a whole. I don't compare them in different categories usually. I don't think that any game would be worth spending tons of money on.I would consider playing it if you didn't have to pay a monthly fee. You have to pay a monthly fee for xbox live.

The Mad Fiddler 20 Report post Posted January 1, 2010 WoW's fun, but it seems that I'm only willing to play maybe a month here and there. Xbox has won over the game.

You have to pay a monthly fee for xbox live. True, but the cheapest WoW account still totals to $155 a year. Xbox Live can be as cheap as $60 a year and works with many games. I also got a year of Xbox Live for only $30 or so on eBay.

FEL 184 Report post Posted January 20, 2010 80 Druid here. Droods rule. But I quit WoW, since I got banned and they changed my password and said that "they had given back my password". But NOOOOOO. Does Blizz care? No, they just want my money. I'll be cutting that off soon. EDIT: Oh yeah, now I play a free private server when I'm bored. Like today. I also got a year of Xbox Live for only $30 or so on eBay. WoW is cheaper than owning an Xbox. WoW = $15 a month. Xbox = $8 a month + Buying new games + Buying MS points + Buying DLC At first glance, Xbox isn't that much but you have to consider everything else your spending money on. Chromatic Flame 1 Report post Posted January 22, 2010 WoW lost my respect with WotLK. It made the game just way too easy so it could appeal to the casual gamer. Blizzard just got too greedy. I'd actually go back to playing if they made pre-BC servers. It would be like the old days before the add ons came out. Level 60 cap with raids that were actually hard. You can't publicly find a server that's private.

Under-Age Waffles 3 Report post Posted January 23, 2010 Errr... Do you know what a private server is in WoW? I used to play in a private server. Every day on the weekends at 6 PM the admins would make everyone on the server a murloc and play the "I am murloc" song. It was pretty awesome.

Silly Blob, whenever someone mentions a private WoW server, they mean a server not owned by Blizzard making it so you don't have to pay a monthly fee. Downfall to private servers are the owners can do whatever they want to them (like make leveling 10000x faster, start at max level with best gear, etc.), and a hell of a lot less people play them.
